Smile November Challenge

Hi Everyone
I would like to start a November challenge.
We will start the challenge on Monday and it will be to walk between 1-3 miles I will post how many miles we walk for that day. Since you are all weighing in today and tomorrow we will all know our starting weight. It is actually the WATP Leslies challenge I have her book but I don't care if you follow her tape or do it outside or at the gym just as long as we walk. Since I am out of last months challenge I want to let you know I weighed in at 191.0 this morning so that will be my starting weight.
Hope everyone can join and please post often to let me know if you walked the miles for that day.
The challenge will last for the month. tomorrow October 31st we shall walk 1 mile.
Good luck every let's get moving Rose

Hi Phyllis
You can do it any way you want. Outdoors, treadmill or with a tape just as long as we move and lose. I got my mile in. In fact I walked outdoors a total of 5 miles today. Our weather is so nice today so I best take anvantage of it before long the snow will be here.
Happy walking

Hi Rose,

My cardio tends to be the stairmaster. Will that still be eligible for the challenge?

Hi Anita
Yes your stairmaster can also be counted in I just want us all to keep moving so we can lose those unwated pounds

Rose,

Just curious...how long does it typically take you to walk a mile? (Just trying to compare with the stairmaster).

Hi Ladies
Ok lets get this walking going any way you want. If you are a slower walker 1 mile is 20 minutes and fast walker its 15 minutes. We will do the rest of the week 1 mile each day. If you have the Leslie Sansone tape you will even get a little more of a workout as I found out. The last 4 weeks I have been doing her tape and I have lost several inches and the weight too.
Laurie it's ok if you don't post daily just try to once a week if you can
Happy walking
Rose

I would like to join in the November challenge as well. I walked about a mile yesterday. I hope to walk a little more today. I haven't weighed myself in the past two days. As soon as I get home, I will weigh myself and post my weight. Good luck everyone!!

Walked 20 min. Monday and got it in today with some walking outside and the rest in the mall. I can't find the tape anywhere.....do you have to order it on line?

My current weight is 146 LB. I hope to lose about 5 more by Thanksgiving. I walked about a mile yesterday and plan to do the same (hopefully even more) today. Rose, I'm thinking whether or not to buy the Leslie Sansone DVDS...Is it a good workout? Have a nice day everyone~~
