Day 4 couldn't come fast enough!! On the plus side, I'm not really craving carbs...just super tired. I'm sure it helped that I was fairly low carb in maintenance anyway.

Today is my second day on IP and I am feeling kind of yucky and craving ALL the carbs, but I know it will pass soon enough.

I hope everyone is having a good day!
Welcome back! Hopefully your cravings subside soon!

Hello IPers! I was hitting the pavement with IP HARD last year and my last login was in December. I didn't phase off correctly and have slipped majorly and in 9 months have put on about 15 lbs (give or take). I'm restarting and think I'm just going to bite the bullet and do it tomorrow. I have nearly everything I need to do a restart and I won't be checking in with a clinic this go around (finances) so I hope to be posting more here. I miss my friends (and I miss being in the 130s!!!)

Kissi the fact that you only went up 15 and are back here is a huge win. That's actually a great start at maintenance. Welcome back!

How's everyone doing this week? I'm battling a sinus infection and haven't been hungry. I have to remind myself to eat...which doesn't usually happen. Tailgating starts tomorrow. I have my veggies and protein ready to go!

Hi!

I'm on Day 4, and I am feeling a little better. Less cravings and the headaches are getting better. Tonight is usually pizza night at our house, so my spouse and kiddos still want pizza, but I'm planning a salad with chicken for me.

What is everyone's plan for the weekend?

Default This seems like the better thread for me

Hi everyone, I'm back reading the threads for support and accountability. I started back on IP August 31, 2015. I lost 30 pounds in 2011 and have gradually gained it back plus 10. Wonderful. The second time around has been very difficult. I've had a few slip ups (a couple of slices of cheese). I feel so tired on this diet - in that even going up the stairs takes every ounce of energy, but otherwise I feel great (not having the bloat, steady weight gain, or guilt after eating too many carbs). I'm day by day. I mostly miss Indian food right now. Anyways, I'll try to keep reading and keep accountable.

Hope you made it through pizza night - that's a tough one without a lot of substitutes - although I made a zoodle (zucchini thats spiralized) spaghetti the other night that hit an Italian food itch I'd been having

mama - no fun about the sinus infection - sorry hope tailgating was fun and the home team won

kissi - I agree with Amber - only 15 is amazing - I know it doesn't necessarily feel like it but you are way ahead of the game

Sticking -
What day are you into P1? If it's more than a week or two, I am concerned about your fatigue. If you have a coach, you might want to check with them. Let us know. You might have thyroid problems or something that is different than iP.

Hello all.
I too am back. I lost close to 40 lbs in the spring of 2012 and did reasonably well keeping within 10-15 of goal until about a year ago. Since then things have gone south in a big way.
Needless to say, I'm back to repair the damage done. As I get older I find its more difficult to get back in the swing of things. So I'll be relying on you all to help me.
I'm also doing alternatives as the IP office I used was a 50 minute drive away and the coaches there really didn't seem invested. My coach literally told me to "have a good life" when I hit goal. No assistance phasing off, no follow up calls, nothing. I'll check here for inspiration, alternative suggestions, and accountability. Looking forward to making new IP friends and reconnecting with some of the old ones!

I have been silent with my reboot since sometimes it doesn't go well but I am on day 42 and doing great. I combo IP and alternatives and lost 16 lbs so far. What a difference those extra pounds make in my life physically and with my self esteem.

My weight loss journey is ongoing as I gain when not on specific plan. I confirmed with myself again and again, this is a mental game for me to resist and commit to my health through weight loss.

Planning to stay on for 60 days total.

Hi Everyone- I hope you had a good weekend!

I made it through pizza night and a weekend at my inlaws. My MIL is a wonderful cook and she usually spoils us with lots of yummy food while we visit, but they grilled me steak a and some delicious on-plan veggies instead so I didn't feel "left out". I love my in-laws!

Welcome to all the new re-booters- hopefully it's going well!!

Dakin, that was my feeling about the coaches too my first time. I actually switched from one coach to another because my first coach would say that she would find something out for me and send an email, and she never did. She also liked to tell me things about her life that I thought were overly personal in my "visit". I did like the weekly weigh-ins and the accountability, but I had to drive a while to get there and then wait in the office and it seemed like I wasn't getting much for the effort.

I did have one mess up this weekend. I had horrible ketosis breath at one point so I got a piece of gum from hubby ( I checked it was sugar free!), but it wasn't 0/0/0. It had 5 calories, no carbs. Hopefully that isn't too much of a mess up (and I know gum is a big issue for some people- I remember some big debates about it on the forums at one point!)

Hope everyone has a good week!

Day 13 (I think) for me and I just realized I haven't been having 4 packets a day. Ugh. Had one tonight now, but irritated with myself for not having it the first two weeks.

You all are way ahead of me. I let my weight get completely out of control. I should have rebooted long before I got to this point.

Hey Mamacita, don't beat yourself up! The important thing is what you are doing now- just focus on that. You can do this!

Are we supposed to have four packets? I've never done that? My sheet just lists three a day?
