Also .5g per lb of body weight is actually the minimum healthy amount, so you could go a fair bit higher although I wouldn't go so far as 1.5g x lb which some bulking weightlifters use. I also eat a fair bit of protein, closer to the 1g x lb rate but do have to watch as I can start to gain at too high an amount. Liana |

TarierThat's great! Especially being on a cruise-endless food- ugh- Way to go!!!! |
Hi everyone! I'm new here but have been reading the boards for a couple of weeks and decided to join in :-)
I started IP on 6/10 and am down 16 pounds (55 to go)! I'm so excited - I love the program!! Looking at my high fat percentage every week is what is motivating me. Years of yo-yo dieting has caused that number to sky rocket and it really worries me considering we are only supposed to be in the low 20's (percent range). The good news is this program is working and the fat is coming off so I know I'll get into the 20 percents eventually! I'm looking forward to chatting with you all more :-) |

Ladies,
I am not sure about the egg whites being unlimited, it was said in a facebook page and some coaches there said its the "new" thing from the conference but my coach didn't know about that. I just wondered if any of you girls knew about that. I think there is so much of egg white one can eat hehe but since I have added some plain egg white omelets in the afternoon I feel less hungry and my scale has started to move more... So, I am not sure what it is or why but it is working for me. |

That reminds me, I gotta boil me up some eggs! I should really make pickled eggs while the eggs are on sale this week. I love pickled eggs and I almost never eat them! Hi to the newbies!! Liana |
Not expecting a great WI today, but I know why. Too many little bites of this and that and I'm up a lb on my home scale. Official WI is not for an hour but I'm determined to get back to full IP in July and lose 5 lbs.

Good attitude to have. You can do it! |
It's killing me, to be around all of the ice cream shops, restaurants and bakeries that we normally go to when we are over here on Marthas Vineyard. So far, so good though. Dear boyfriend has gotten his donuts and eaten them, they smelled a-maze-Ing!!! Ate dinner out last night , had a steak and see steamed summer and zucchini and a salad with oil and vinegar. Walked close to 5 miles yesterday. Was going to do an extra packet, but by the time we got back on the boat from supper, I was still full and went to bed. Happy 4th my wonderful support peeps!!

Official WI is up 1 lb. I know why. I move on. I am going to make sure that doesn't happen next week. Even more motivated to get to goal now. I know I can only do it with IP. Have a great 4th of July everyone! |
Hey everyone.
I have done IP before and after having kids I have started again 8 days ago. I was wondering if any of you have any tips on accelerating the weight loss process? I know it sounds silly, but for some reason my scale hasn't budged in 3 days; in fact, I even have gained 2 pounds...and I have been on plan 100%. Weighing and measuring everything, getting in more than 12 glasses of water a day, etc... I have even cut out the restricted. I have a vacation at the end of August and I want to lose about 25-30 pounds before then. My friend is on IP - weighed about 190 - and has lost 50 pounds in only 2 months.. Any tips on how I could increase my results like hers? Thanks everyone. I am just feeling really disappointed and discouraged right now :( |
