Well, today (late afternoon) was weigh in day... only lost .6 -but it's better than gaining .6. I lost 1/2" on my waist and thighs and 1/4 on my chest. I wasn't feeling so hot yesterday afternoon, felt like I was coming down with the flu, nausea, bloated lousy feeling. So I got home from work and went straight to bed, no dinner, no pills, nada- today I'm better but still not 100%. It was all I could do to eat my veggies at lunch. Hopefully it's just a hiccup because of that and not the beginning of one of those cycles I've read about where people get stuck.

Fantastic results! Way to go! I plan to get rid of my clothes once they get too big because I'm determined not to be able to wear them again.

I have a box of clothes to be donated and will keep adding items to them as I shrink out of them. Kinda looking forward to finally clearing out my closets and dressers over the next few months :carrot:

Sorry your not feeling well, maybe that's why you had the small loss.
Be optimistic, next week will be better.
That's what I told myself all day after my WI this morning, only down 1
Sure was hoping for more, but after I got home, I looked at my progress over the 7 weeks since I started, and I'm averaging a bit more than 2 a week.

Thank you!! This morning I am feeling more myself. It is amazing when you think about the long term, and 10 lbs a month on average and 21ish inches overall in 4 months for me. In reading back through the threads, most of us feel that way when we have our 1st really low loss. "Just keep swimming" :D

Glad you are feeling better - summer viruses are the worst :(

I finally hit a 'real' slow patch for IP - 16 days of bouncing the same pound up and down. I finally saw some movement this morning. Now, I am working on a spreadsheet of the last 20 weeks (5 MONTHS! Wow! Doesn't even seem real...) to get a better idea of what my actual losses have been and to monitor to see what changes are happening and if there are things I need to think about switching up. One thing I won't be doing though is lowering my calories. I will deal with losing slowly before going below the 950 k/cal average

TMI: Still didn't have a good movement (Day 6 now...) - and this was after doubling my Natural Calm last night *sigh* This is the worst constipation I've had since February and it feels like I have a brick in my belly :( (it's not water either - upped that on Monday)

But on the bright side, my weight this morning put me 0.7 away from breaking into the 170's :cheer: :broc: which after the Natural Calm does it's thing, should officially be in the 170's!

Look at you, chugging along like a the little engine that could! (And definitely little- almost in the 170s! :D ) I love it when I don't lose all week, and then my exlax kicks in. I've become pretty regular now, I only take it once a month or so, but it sure works!

Thanks Shark :) I am almost to the point of drinking some Smooth Move...the problem is I am scared to death to do it when I have to go to work the next day...it works a little too well :o

WI yesterday and down 2 lbs which finally puts me under 200 at 199. Soooo happy, I never want to see that number again. I'm in a size 18 jeans that I bought a year ago, still had tags on that before I started IP, I couldn't get past my thighs.
I know this is a long journey but these milestones really keep me motivated to stay OP.

ONEderful!!! Congratulations!!

I sure know how good that feels. I started at just a few lb over 200, so I got into the one-hundreds pretty quickly, but it really felt good anyway!. Something about that number starting with "2"

When I started, I told myself that when I got to 20 lb loss, I would empty out my closet and try everything on, get rid of anything too big. I'm still a few lb from that (getting there slowly).... but along the way, if I have tried something on and it was too big, I've been putting it in a pile in a spare room ready to be donated.
Yesterday, I decided to make a trip to the thrift store, and, my goodness, I had enough to fill up a pretty big bag! :)

I absolutely agree, livinglrg, a great motivator for sure!

:broc: :broc: Welcome to ONEDERLAND! :D Really happy for you!

Happy Friday!

Day 8 with very little :o movement - ugh! Desperately trying everything else before the Smooth Move (I don't even keep Ex-Lax in the house...) -w/ work, dd10's dress rehearsal, helping friends move early tomorrow, recital that afternoon, a concert, and then a Nationals baseball game on Father's Day I am a little too busy to deal with the after effects I get :(
water is up, still taking 2 doses of Natural Calm, added celery last night and again with breakfast.

Hi, everyone! Just checking in. I had my week 9 weigh in today and lost a surprising 3 lbs (my highest weekly loss since week 2). So happy to be 27 lbs lighter, and I just dropped into the 170's which means I get to buy a new fancy purse! I'm all about mini-goals and rewarding myself. :) I can't wait until the 160's when I get to buy myself a new iPhone 6. :D

Cheers! And happy losing to everyone!

livinlrg 06-19-2015 04:34 PM

Thanks all for the cheers!
I'm almost at the 30lbs mark so I have some clothes that I can throw out rather than donate. My clothes were getting so old and ratty .... And tight. I absolutely refused to buy a bigger size because I didn't want to admit I was a size 22. So out in the trash they go.
Fiannalove: way to go on the WI. I love the mini-goals and the rewards to celebrate your hard work. It's a great way to stay OP.
