Hawaii69 - glad to hear your P1 went well and good for you on down pounds! Amazing how a few days of being really careful will make you feel so much better - less bloated, sluggish etc.
I'm with you, weekends are my hardest time. Even if I plan something always happens. I've been playing a bit with my calories - I know I can maintain on between 1600-1700 a day (that may change when I can exercise more) so I've been sticking at right around 1600 during the week and if I go over by 300 or 400 one day on the weekend I don't worry about it. Trying hard not to think in absolutes but rather give myself a range in calories just like I do with pounds. We'll see how it works out.
And you are right - this is an awesome support group and we're so glad you are here too! I don't know what I'd do without you guys!
Hooray SylviesGirl for listening to your body on needing more food! I can't wait to get back to getting some exercise - one more week (or so).
evemomma - hope you're feeling better soon! Colds are miserable.
catlady1981 - age does factor into the skin sag and genetics. I was surprised though that the one place I was really worried about isn't really a problem - my face! I mean, I don't look 25 but I was worried that I would have a lot of sag in my neck and chin area but that didn't happen. Go figure.
Rain, rain, rain today. Good thing I'm working indoors all day!
I've been at work since 6:15 this morning and watching it rain on the lake while trying to get stuff done and all I want to do is go across the street to the deli and get junk food. I won't - I'll eat the lunch I brought but do I get to have a pity party while I do it?
Got the call from school that my daughter was sick. I sent her off this morning after trying to convince her she'd feel better, clearly lost good mother points on that one. Thankfully made it out of the car before tossing cookies on the porch.
Lina - we took them to the Great Wolf Lodge in Niagre Falls, only about 40min from home. They had tons of fun and were able to wear Halloween costumes.
Sylviesgirl- great job with your work outs this week. Did you find that vintage coat?
Chipndip- it is always hard to travel and figure out the right balance. I agree tho yog are likely holding with the extra salt and little added weight should come off in a day or so. Good for you for doing the P1 right away. Happy shopping
Hawaii- good for you for sticking with it and getting back to your maintanance weight. I find the weekends hard to and like Rith Ann and I'm sure others, do better with the structure of the work week.
Eve- how are you feeling? I'm sure you aren't loosing your muscle mass from not working out for a few days. Take it easy and rest. Your trip sounded like lots of fun and you managed the whole travelling/eating thing really well.
I'm going to enjoy a quiet afternoon and read while my daughter sleeps.

Aw, your poor daughter! Stomach flu is awful...hope no one else comes down with it! So, what is you new running routine? I am always in awe when you discuss the distances you run!!!!
I am sneezing away but OK. I feel terrible for my clients who have to be in the room with me..........luckily I have a very big office. I just go wash my hands before I do any hands-on activities with any kiddos I see.
Did a Mexican "fat" meal for lunch and will do the "carb" version for dinner using the same chicken fajita meat and cooked peppers. I'm glad to know that dinner tonight will be an easy fix. Still can't get my asthma back on track yet.....but I am MISSING my Zumba!
Hope everyone is having a great day...off to my next client!!!
Ruth Ann, I will definitely lend you the crayons, lol! Especially the bright colored crayons. I will also throw you a pity party- Poor friend, sure hope your rainy day improved and that the your lunch tasted delicious.

I promise not to run with scissors if I can join the pity party and colour too! Raining here as well, and I don't even feel like sticking my nose outside to cross the street to pick up the mail
I hope your workday went better slip... perhaps one day the stars will align (and so will the kids).
Feel better soon evemomma, asthma sux, luckily mine doesn't bother me very often.
Saying some prayers for my Canadian friends and the soldiers and their families.
Same here. So sad.
Hoping the rain lets up some today - my parking lot is flooded at work and I haven't gotten out to buy galoshes yet.
I have to tell you though, sitting here early in the morning with my coffee watching the cat clean his dog's face makes me smile. Those two are always good for cheering me up!
Don't know what's got me in a funk - I think it may be the lack of exercise. Hopefully the doctor will ok ramping it up on Tuesday when I see her. I've just been sticking with gentle walking on the treadmill but am itching to get back at it.
Doing good on not eating entire kitchen though - however tempting that might be. Hot tea is my friend!
Ah snap...my post erased! Just assume I was EXTREMELY witty and smart in it, and now I've lost my mojo (lol!).
Hoping everyone is waking up to sunny skies and feeling ready to tackle the last few work week days!
RuthAnn....hang in there!!!!! I always get in a little funk when the weather gets icky, also.
I don't work today until this afternoon....wahoo! I need to get in at least a mini-bout of cardio followed by some stretching today. Saying it here so I FOLLOW THROUGH.
Need to go birthday shopping for my hubby today also since his birthday is this weekend. He's SO hard to shop for since he's not very materialistic at all. I love to decorate cakes, but haven't made a my own buttercream icing since starting IP in April. My hubby's birthday is my first non-P1 birthday of the family. I know he wants a cake. Thinking I will make a small one and maybe a batch of pumpkin/yogurt muffins that I can grab instead (well, of course after my ONE slice on my free day).
Any cool birthday gift ideas are welcomed (under $200)!
Thanks Slip and Ruth Ann for thinking about your neighbors to the North. What happened yesterday was a big wake up call to us that we aren't immune to this terrorist BS. Thank goodness the situation was diffused quickly and there weren't many casualties.
Thanks ladies for thinking of us. So sad and shocked by the horrible events in Ottawa yesterday.
Ruth Ann - your post about the cat cleaning the dogs face made me smile. Would love to see a picture of that. Hope you are having a better day and the doc okay's you for some exercise soon.
Eve - is that a new picture in your profile? Beautiful on the inside and the out. I hope your asthma clears up soon, that can be tiring trying to breathe. My asthma is more cold and allergy induced these days. You asked about my running routine, I work out 3 X week at Orange Theory gym which is 30 min running and 30 min weights/core (TRX, free weights...) then I'm part of a running group and we run outside 2X week. One 10km or under and the other Saturday run is our long run working up to whatever the goal is. Enjoy your DH bday celebration.
Had my WI today and sitting at 158lb which is great for me. I leave for Vegas early tomorrow morning with my mom till Monday night. We are going to see Shania Twain, it's on moms bucket list, and Cirque - to the Beatles music. She did IP and closely monitors her eating so we should do well on the eating front. Looking forward to relaxing bye the pool and just being together.
Have fun with your mom in Vegas, Jenny! Hahaha, you can tell the Canadians in Vegas because they sit by the pool & tromp around in their shorts Oct-Feb while the Vegasites (lol) are all pulling out their fur coats!
Jenny - have fun in Vegas! I have a few pics of the dog & cat doing their thing, I'll see if I can get one to post over the weekend. It's pretty funny watching them.
I love (well, not right this second) TRX workouts - I always feels like I have accomplished something after them. Anxious to get back to it but I suspect doc will have me off a couple more weeks.
So glad it's Friday - been a long week. I think we're supposed to set more records for rain too - good weekend to do "house" stuff.
