I am pretty sure I don't have hunger pangs, but I think because it's my TOM, I can't stop thinking about eating! I've been doing good today, but already ate my snack - couldn't hold out. :-(

Going to make a hard boiled egg now and take it out of my dinner protein. This happened pre-IP also; I would get ravenous around my TOM. Argh!

Today was a good day even though work is stressing me out, but really, what's new with that?

I'm out of my bars and snacks. I placed a very large order on Nashua yesterday and I should have it by Thursday says Fedex, but we'll see. In the meantime, it is lots of shakes for me! I might try to see if I can find Detour bars around here.

I ordered the Kay's Natural grab n go box and loved that I got to try so many different things for $20. My favorites are probably Chili Nacho Cheese protein chips, Crispy Parmesan protein chips, and BBQ Snack Mix.

I was getting dinner together and got a phone call that a friend died.....I am so sad, and trying not to trigger emotional eating. It also triggered my anxiety and I am suddenly thinking, what if I have too many ketones in my urine, and what if I eat too much protein in one day. Sigh.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Loss is the hardest part of life.

I wouldn't worry about your ketones or having too much protein. This isn't a high protein diet and as long as you are eating and drinking according to plan, you are safe.

Welcome everyone who is back again and who is starting. The support is great here. Love reading everything and have learned a lot about IP. I have not really gained but had not been staying true and cheating, now 100% did not even have bacon this am at work, smelled so good. Really want to get to under 200.

Everyone have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to all the newbies. So glad you are here.

Congrats to everyone with recent losses. It's exciting to see how well everyone is doing and get confirmation that this does work.

For those who have setbacks, just remember every day is a new day. I think we will all have setbacks from time to time as we learn to change our eating habits.

Had my 3rd WI today. Another 2.8 pounds gone for a total of 13.7

Mid cycle = release of ripe egg.... sorry - that just sounds gross, but it is another hormone spike in our bodies so it can affect our cravings. You may also feel sexier, and dress more provocatively,

No, really, the ripe egg/hormone thing is true.

Thanks, everyone! I can't wait to see that 1 at the front of the scale. Haven't seen that since...college? It's been a long time!

I asked for a food processor for my birthday, and I haven't had a chance to pick one out yet. Anybody have any suggestions?

I was so hungry today. It was payback for poor planning the day before which left me with a choice of potentially rotten zucchini or an onion! I feel much better after having a lovely steak for dinner! Next weigh in is on Thu. I have my eye on the prize!

My husband would LOVE if I dressed more provocatively. I think he's lucky if I remember to shave my legs once in a blue moon! However my pants DID fall off on Saturday -- does that count?

Get one that has a chef attached to it -- not the "Gordon Ramsey" type of chef. Maybe more of the Curtis Stone type chef!

I am so hungry NOW I am typing to keep from munching! See how you all help me? I wouldn't use "bad" veggies, but I do love to make a mean veggie puree to add to the gross soup mixes -- makes gross soup and veggies I don't really want to eat both turn out pretty yummy!
