I met another mini-goal. I now weigh the same as my husband. Granted, he is taller than me, but hey, I'll take it

So I bought this new protein powder today from GNC called Promasil Milk Chocolate I think its in line with protocol, its just a lot higher in protein. it cost me $21.99 for 15 servings.
1 serving Equals:100 - Cal10 - cals from fatTotal Fat - 1gCholesterol - 10mgSodium - 70mgPotassium - 10 mgCarbs - 0 (No fiber or sugar...so literally 0)Protein - 22gSweetened with stevia
Any input?

Sounds like it fits into protocol for non-restricted.. how does it taste?

Went to Target and got Strawberry and French Vanilla RTDs by EAS....Mixed vanilla with ice coffee this morning, pretty good but I seem to be a little hungrier than I want to be! I am having the chilli for lunch today. It is hard when you work in an office, and you are semi-bored all day. You just want to snack. I can't wait for my first weigh in Thursday, and was really happy to see the ketostix worked and really motivated me. Is it Friday yet? lol

Default Day 1

I picked up my sample of packets and had measurements taken this morning. I'm officially on plan! I'm happy to report I have not eaten anything off plan yet. I was pleasantly surprised that the crispy cereal I had for breakfast was really pretty good. I'm munching on some peppers at the moment, and have plans for broccoli and cheese soup for lunch with some added broccoli and cauliflower. What are the things you guys like best?

Congrats! That was one of my goals too! Dh is a little over 6'2" so it was a huge milestone for me - I did a serious happy dance when I hit that number!

Yeah for planning ahead! I kept a big bowl of lettuce on my desk for months (not the same lettuce, mind you) just for snacking urges. I did put it away when clients came in.

I liked pretty much everything except the omelets, just could never like them. Fortunately there's a good variety! And lots of ways to "dress up" the packets - check out the recipe threads (stickies in the 1st post of the daily chat). Things that you find you don't care for now you may like later - your tastes change a lot on IP.

My favorite though is turning the oatmeal into zucchini/oatmeal muffins. So good!

My faves were the Broccoli Cheddar soup (I am Gluten Free so I had only this & the omelette choices for GF Hot and Savoury foods) I also like it made into a chewy tortilla-like bread in a pie plate - very easy. Someone has it on Pinterest if it's not on the recipe sticky. You can Google 'IP Broccoli Cheddar Bread'. I liked the yogourt Wildberry drink, and the Dark Chocolate pudding with all kinds of variations in it such as chili powder, WF peanut butter, and salt, & cinnamon. Peach Mango and Pina Colada were handy to take somewhere if you were going out and wanted a fancy drink to have with friends at a party, etc.

Hi everybody!!!!

I am finally back from my 11 day trip to Florida (and Tennessee and EVERYWHERE it feels like). I was scared to death to step on the scale today (started my TOM yesterday...plus traveling C and such...sorry TMI). But I was happy to see that I am FINALLY below 155. So, my scale does seem to weigh a little light and my official weigh-in is tomorrow. Fingers crossed that I am at 155, which would mean I lost about 2 lbs while on vacation at DISNEY WORLD.

I plan to make a post about my trip and what worked and what didn't. I really missed everyone here and the daily support I get from visiting.

The time I could really tell I have lost weight was when was at the beach for two days. I still wore my old suit from last year but I didn't feel like I had to suck my stomach in the whole time. I just played and had fun with my kids and hubby. Marvelous.

Thanks! I'm BEYOND happy to be home where staying OP is so much easier. But I know if I can do IP 100% at Disney, then I can do it anywhere!

Snickers, it takes a lot of courage to post when we fall of track and many of us have on this site, I think it is part of the recovery. I feel off in December and put back 7lbs but got back on plan. This is life, getting off track and getting back on again. Good for you for catching it at 10. You can do it!

Welcome Notcoolenough and sounds like you are getting off to a great start.
I really like making the crispy pancake out the crispy cereal, the eggs, mango drink with extra water and crushed ice, choclate and vanilla shakes, rotini, and of course pretty much all the bars.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Does anyone have the sheet for Vegetarians that lists specific brands of items and amounts that are IP equivalent to the 8 oz protein meal (i.e. Boca Burger, etc.)?? I know someone here got one from their clinic.

I have a friend that is interested in seeing how the vegetarian choices would work for them.

THANKS!
