Question. I just found a small health food store in my area, they sell IP products, but in order to buy them I had to sign a waver saying I was in maintenance and no longer going to get weigh in and measured. We found another brand of packets that are made by Health Wise, almost the same nutrition facts and a whole lot cheaper. IP $30 bucks a box HW 19 bucks. Has anyone used this product? If so what do you think?

Healthwise works. Go to the first few posts of this thread to see nutritional stats to look for

Question: I just bought some bread in the freezer section at Whole Foods. Its called Paleo Bread and it has 6 grams of carbs and 6 grams of fiber.
This may be a stupid question, but is this a free food? I don't really understand restricted versus unrestricted. Can you eat as much unrestricted as you want, or just 3-4 a day?
Thanks!

Not only is this NOT free, there is no bread on P1 of Ideal Protein, at all.

Do you have a p1 plan sheet? It lays out how many packets/day (3) and one of those may be restricted.

All foods on Ideal Protein are very carefully measured or weighed and all are limited.

Would someone, PLEASE :-), post updated vitamin and supplement information? I've been through every thread on here looking for this information--I think I've utterly confused myself--not sure if I even have the correct information, what I should be looking for, or if I even understand what I'm reading!

The bread sounds fascinating - I cannot answer your question, but just to be clear -- since you are 1lb below goal, are you on Maintenance?

Quest cheddar sour cream chip review

The chips are light and crispy. The texture is not like baked Lays, Pringles, or even the IP crisps. The cheddar flavor is predominant. Did not taste much sour cream. They are unrestricted. But not very filling. At least to me. And the packaging from Quest leaves something to be desired. Over half of the bags I got were crushed. There were two cases of Quest bars in the shipping box that smashed the bags.

When you are looking for a thread, the easiest way to find it is to Google like this:

Vitamins+Ideal Protein. Then the links come up and you can read each of the existing threads. The search on 3FC is cumbersome. I've copied the first link here for you.

I get my quest chips late this afternoon. I'll post my thoughts probably next week. I keep my 'convenient' meals at the office for the work week and my 'kitchen' meals at home on the weekend.

At this moment, I'm trying to decide what I want for lunch today.

For those looking for vegetarian/vegan/ soy-free shakes, I just tried Six Star Nutrition's Instant Protein Smoothie. I picked it up at Walmart and I like it. It has a creaminess to it but I did notice some grit as it was going down my throat but mixing it with ice really helped that. I only saw the berry flavor here, so I'm not sure if there are other flavors.

Mine were packaged well & nothing smashed. They put the chips inside an additional box, in the bigger box.

The texture reminded me of Baked Lays, but not the flavor (a little drier).
I got cheese & sea salt flavors. The sea salt needs a dip or something...very cardboard-like (to me). I'm thinking my caulihummus or mockamole would be good dips.

Was at GNC today, and they are having a buy 3 get 1 free on Quest bars. They didn't have the chips (the clerk didn't even know they existed!) so I just ordered some online - got the cheddar & sea salt flavors, plus 2 bags of the bbq for the girls I work with who are addicted to the bbq IP crisps (I can't have them - tomato allergy). QUESTION: I use the IP crisps to bread chicken on occasion, do you think the Quest chips will work as a breading as well?

Also - was at Walmart and picked up some South Beach diet protein items (I lost all my college weight on South Beach years ago). The meal replacement bar looked like a decent restricted (but 12g of protein) but the snack bars and shakes only had 6g. I picked up some because I'm looking to replace the banana-strawberry IP RTD, but I imagine I'd have to add some more protein along with them - maybe an egg?

Yesterday we bought some muscle milk lite chocolate shakes at Costco (they $7.00 off this month, making them $22 for a case of 24). I liked them. There is kind of a vanilla aftertaste to them but crazy as it might sound I didn't mind them. I still prefer my carbadvantedge shakes over muscle milk but, I will continue to use the muscle milk lite ones as well.

So im on Day 5 of my Alternative IP diet/lifestyle change, I've lost 7Lbs. The products im using are from Lindora online. Ive read through this whole thread and didn't see anyone mention "Lindora," but I also haven't read the other alternative threads. So im just wondering if any of you have tried this product and liked it. So far I have had good results.
