I get tired of the pure protein bars, and my friend mamazu introduced me to the Simple Bars...they are very good, and great ingredients and completely OP. I have purchased them from Amazon twice, though they can be too good , in that you may want to eat more than 1!
Just another option for us

Oh wow, these look great! I'm caseine-sensitive and so the whey alternative is fabulous for me. I hope they don't taste too good, lol. (In my perfect world, these bars, which are like crack to my sweet-addicted brain, would be sold in regular grocery stores so you can buy one at a time). Thanks for the tip!
Was out today and bought the Lemon Cream Pie one. Took one bit and tossed it. Tasted like soap to me.
Did the same exact thing yesterday, and also with Apple Pie. I do enjoy the Banana Nut. The trick for me is find one that tastes good but not TOO good. On P1, BBQ Soynuts worked this way, but on P4, they just don't have enough calories to hold me.
I don't find I get cravings from the quest bars or the simply bars. They are good and I enjoy them but have no problem limiting them to one a day and I really need the high fibre in the quest bar. It is the ones that are more like chocolate bars like the smaller Oh Yeah bars I really have to watch, one tastes like more.
I was in GNC yesterday to buy some Quest bars and the salesperson was trying to steer me towards a different bar and said that there was some controversy involving the Quest bars being mislabeled. I did a google search and didn't see anything, but has anyone else heard any scuttlebutt?
Also, he talked me out of getting the chocolate brownie in favor of the double chocolate chunk. Had the chocolate chunk last night and thought it was pretty good - until I had a strange aftertaste in my mouth for the next hour. It wouldn't be so bad except I bought a whole box of them.
So, I'm hating the GNC sales guy for making me insecure about eating Quest bars in the first place and then giving me bad advice on the flavor.

Was he trying to steer you towards GNC's Lean bars? They always do that to me...my guess is they earn more commission on their brand.
I heard about that lawsuit, but Quest is fighting it.

I haven't had them try to get me to buy another brand but 2 different guys suggested the Raseberry. I did try ONE, but I have to have chocolate!

GNC sales people are always trying to get me to buy what they suggest. Just ignore them pesky people and stick to your guns about what YOU want!!
