Proti-thin makes some that taste very much like IP...but nashua is out of stock. It appears the Lindora RTDs are the same as Proti-thin, so you might try them?

I haven't found a RTD I can purchase at a store near me that tastes good (and is IP compliant). I'm afraid to spend the money on the Premier Protein at Sam's in case I don't like it, I can't find a 4-pk of that anywhere!

My stomach hurts trying to drink it so quickly to get the agony overwith :( I tweeted them to let them know my breakfast is ruined. And i'll definitely be writing a email as well.

Anyone have any alternative RTD shakes I could switch to once I run out of these (or decide I cant stomach them anymore)?

I have't tried the new EAS formulation...I didn't like the Chocolate Fudge after the first week or so anyway. I like the Rich Dark Chocolate and still have that in the original formula. I tried the Premier Protein shakes and can barely gag them down...I now chug them and chase them with water as well...5 down, 13 to go!

RTD - Try Pure Protein from Walmart/Target. A little more than EAS (about $8 for 4). I like them a lot... Your mileage may vary!!!

I sent a comment to EAS on their website about how much different, and worse, the new formulation is. They emailed me back today with a customer care phone number. I called and they are reimbursing me for the $27 I spent on a case of these things. So at least with buying replacements I wont feel like I had to waste any money.
If anyone bought these shakes and cant even drink them, call EAS and they'll send you a check!
I also made sure to tell them to let their quality control people know that the original formula was wayyyy different and much better, and that there is a ongoing consensus that the new stuff is no good. Hopefully they change it again, but for the better this time.

And thanks JLUS! I'll have to check out pure proteins shakes. I use their bars every day. I just don't want my losses to be effected by changing things up :( I'm just passed the halfway point & I wanna keep up the fast paced losing.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a protein powder that I can buy at GNC/WalMart/Target that tastes like the chocolate protein powder drink from IP that doesn't taste chalky???

Pure protien powder, choc or vanilla. Very good. Target has them.

Ok... so I'm moving onto alternatives and from what I've been reading, people have been having the same success as on IP, which is great. My clinic is always late with orders and I'm tired of being dependant on them so I'm taking control and will be in charge of my own food!!

I'm just nervous to get something I shouldn't but I've written down the guidelines and will be researching a little more before I place my order in. :D Here's hoping I continue to succeed and the scale keeps moving down!

I really like Premier Protein Chocolate RTD. I buy it from Costco for $24.99 an 18 pack. I also recently purchased Muscle Milk Light in Chocolate from Costco. They are currently running a special (US) for $6 off a 24 pack...I can't remember the final cost, but it was somewhere around $24.00 too. Out of the two, I prefer the Premier Protein. I think the Muscle Milk tastes slightly like maple syrup. With that being said, they are both pretty good mixed with my coffee in the morning for a nice Mocha Iced Coffee. :D

I've been reading some information on alternatives and saw that some of the products offered by Dr. Berstein were close to IP, but the review for the chocolate shake was less than favourable.

I know most protein drinks in powder form come in large container, but are there other ones that are single use? Similar to IP where I use one packet to make a drink? Alternatively, I know a lot of products are Ready-made drinks, are these drinks good to mix with spinach as it's what I've been drinking for breakfast each morning.

Thanks for any info provided!!! :D

Lots of the brands carried on Nashua Nutritions site are boxes of packets for drinks (ProtiDiet, ProtiThin, Health Smart, WeightLoss Systems, Etc)

Nashua has the Proti-Thin RTDs back in stock. The Chocolate is 99% of the IP, and the vanilla is great (I can't compare to IP, never had it). Still more expensive than the other alternatives, though - $18/six.

Hello all

New to this and doing some research.... I see there are alternatives so my question is there a list of the ideal food you can have or alternative?

Alternatives in Canada

Hi All,

I am starting to read through htis thread and others on alternatives as I am going to be switching tomorrow .I do live in Canada and wonder if anyone has any good alternative sites so I don't pay a lot in shipping, I also like the chocolate drink in the morning (powder mix preferred) and the omelet, puddings, etc.. I will keep poking around all the pages but any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.,
