Default Todays' Breakfast Ideas

I recived this today from the IDEAL PROTEIN CHANNEL I thought I would pass it on..apologies if you already have them.

Ali

BREAKFAST RECIPE IDEAS

Veggie Omelet (Phase 1 Compatible)
Grab some organic celery, scallions, broccoli, and sauté them in a non-stick pan until they are at the desired consistency. When almost done, add some fresh mushrooms. Then add some tomato but don’t cook the tomato too long. When this mixture is done, add some garlic powder, onion powder and then put a little Walden Farms balsamic dressing in it (you can leave this out but it gives it a better flavor.) Then add some raw onions and put the combination aside for now.
Add hot water (10 ounces) to a blender and add the 3 Cheese & Fine Herbs Omelet packet. Add garlic powder (1 tablespoon), onion powder (2 tablespoon), minced onions (3 tablespoons), and baking powder (1 big teaspoon), 1 packet of Splenda and blend for a minute.
Take some spray olive oil and spray a little on a non stick pan and cook it covered on medium heat on one side and then flip it over and cook it on the other side and wow, you’ll have made a huge omelet. Then take the veggies and put them on top of the omelet. Fold it over and enjoy a huge and delicious tasting veggie omelet.

Oatmeal Biscuits (Phase 1 Compatible) (Equivalent to 2 Ideal Protein Diet foods. Yield: approx. 12 biscuits)
Ingredients:
• 2 packets of Ideal Protein Diet Maple Oatmeal
• 1 large egg white
• 1-2 ounces of water
Directions:
Beat egg then stir into oatmeal until mixed thoroughly. Add water to thin batter until spoonable – but not runny. Spoon onto non-stick baking sheet and bake about 10 minutes at 400°F (205°C) or until golden.

Oatmeal Wildberry Muffins (Phase 1 Compatible)
Grease a mini muffin pan with oil and mix 1 pack Ideal Protein Maple Oatmeal with 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder. Add 1 pack of Ideal Protein Wildberry Yogurt, add 1 beaten egg, and add 1/4 cup of water or until muffin consistency mix carefully. Spoon into pan until 3/4 full then bake at 350F until golden brown for about 10 minutes. Eat alone and get bursts of berry in your mouth, or use an Ideal Protein Vanilla Pudding or Ideal Protein jam recipe for a topping. Kids love them especially if they get to help! Cheaper than easy bake oven foods and better for you! Makes 6 small muffins, the whole tray would be 2 protein packets or 3 if you have icing. So, you can eat 2 muffins at a time (if you used 3 packets) or 3 at a time (if you used 2 packets) and it would be one Ideal Protein serving.

Crispy Rice Cereal Pancakes (Phase 1 Compatible)
We tried this suggestion from a viewer. It’s great.
Ingredients:
• 2oz of water
• Cinnamon to taste
• Dash of vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1 egg white
• 1 packet of Ideal Protein Crispy Cereal, crushed with a rolling pin)
Mix it up using a Magic Bullet if you have one, or with a blender. Fry in a non-stick pan with a touch of spray olive oil.
Add Walden Farms maple syrup and enjoy! Makes 2 pancakes

Fantastic!! So glad you liked. FYI I got the sauce at the dollar store of all places. Usually I end up making my own since I don't usually shop there.

Went to the store yesterday and bought all the ingredients for the cauliflower sip and the curried cauliflower soup.

I am headed to a friends to watch the game and plan to bring the dip and some sliced veggies to enjoy while everyone else eats navhos, wings etc . i made enough to bring some to work throughout the week as well.

The soup is cooking now! I plan to make the garam masala spiced chicken later this week and serve the soup alongside

I really do love your blog as my husband and I also keep a kosher home too. we dont have the same variety as everyone else in terms of the protein. I love these recipes! Please keep them coming!

Thank you so much!! I hope you liked everything--let me know how it tasted.

I agree, kosher is a little limiting but there's a lot we can do with chicken and beef :-)

I've been a little off the recipe blog lately as I have a big work trip later this week. But after dinner last night I couldn't resist!

Here's a delicious way to prepare salmon. Super easy and nearly impossible to overcook and dry out. Perfectly moist every single time.

I chop up some green onions very fine and mix it into the patty mix, along with a good dose of garlic (powder or minced) and black pepper. Make it up really thick, I think just a couple of TBLSP water. Then I make little nuggets in an non-stick frypan.

I make a quick sweet and sour sauce with Splenda and Apple Cider Vin and dip it in there. My daughter tried one and said it tasted like a restaurant egg rolls without the wrapper. I like them a lot. Great for a snack, and if I'm going to be away from home, I put them on the salad I take with me that day.
