Is it me or does your ticker appear backwards? The pumpkin is headed (ideally) for the pitcher...

Hey all -- Seriously, I got stuck with TOM and Week 2 at the same time ... only my luck!!! Weigh in on Thursday, so we will see how I fair!

Some people were talking about Rainbow's alternative recipes ... where can I find these? Also, are they for Phase 1?

Hi everyone! Just checking in to say I met my first mini-goal, which was 12 lbs by Halloween. Now for the next mini-goal, 12 more by Thanksgiving. I feel like I should treat myself to something. In the past, I would treat to food, but those days are gone. I was thinking a new shirt, but decided to wait until I lost a bit more since I will go down a size soon. So I decided on FUZZY SLIPPERS and just ordered them! Yay! How do ya'll treat if you meet a mini-goal?

Man, I forgot how hard first week is. Day 2 and I am starving!! I don't even think I tasted my dinner. I was so hungry I just shovelled it in! Can't wait for the days to come where I will realize it is dinner time from the time on the clock rather than my obnoxious stomach screaming at me!!!

I have laid down the law about Halloween in our house -

1. hubby will shop for candy the day of, or hide it in his truck until the day of
2. he will distribute all candy
3. immediately after, he will lock remaining candy in his truck to take to work the next day and give it away
4. no Reese's cups - my favorite!

After more than 100 days, this scares me... Boo!
Great plan!!! Just make a mental point of putting nothing off program in your mouth. Brain and heart time, we've gotta dig deep. My kids will have Halloween candy around for weeks. LE sigh. It's all crap anyways, and I don't like them to have much of it. Perhaps the Halloween fairy will come and trade it in for a toy!!! My sister with a 6 year old diabetic does that, the kids eat all they like for 2 days then it gets set out for the Halloween fairy who brings a toy and takes the candy!!

I've never heard of breakfast veggies. Only noon and supper veggies!

You need everything the veggies have to offer - the fiber (to keep things moving), the nutrients (because we can't get absolutely everything we need from packets and supplements), and the water. You also need to be eating the veggies to retrain your taste buds away from the stuff that made you fat in the first place

Question for you guys: I'm so craving bread right now, it's not even funny. I would probably give my left arm for a nice toasted tomato sandwich... (that is, if I didn't have so much success with this protocol)
Any recipe that is close to bread? (that is not sweet)
You can make flatbreads from the soup packets - mix the packet with 1 egg white, 1/4 tsp baking powder, and enough water to make it into a thick-ish batter. Spread into a circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet with a spatula (I wet the spatula a little which will help keep the batter from sticking to it). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, flip and bake another 5-10 minutes until done. I use tomato soup packets to make flatbread and add a teeny bit of Veggie Shreds mozzarella (less than 2 Tbsp) in the last 5 minutes of baking to make a mini pizza

I gotta jump in and ask a semi-personal question:

For those that are a 14/16 in pants, what size undies do you wear? I am at a complete loss as to what size to buy. I'm wearing the same size from 50 lbs ago :-/
