Thanks gang, still riding the high, I know the the rest of the weeks will not be that amazing, but it is a good start. And it is a work in progress.
Last night was the first time I have been out for dinner. I had more meat than I was suppose to but, it was all good. It was just meat and steamed vegetables.
And next time I will bring my own dressing for the salad. Plain lettuce just sucks.
Have a great week.

If you stick with it you will rock this. I lost thirty the first week and 100 in three months. You could too. I hit 150 in about five months.

Thanks, USMC
I can do this, in the past I would beat myself up for having had that extra meat, and just throw in the towel and quit. Not going to do this time.
But, you guys are proof that I can do this too.

Kit - If you forget your salad dressing try just olive oil and squeeze some lemons over the top. It is really good. Sometimes restaurants don't carry white vinegar so that is what I do. Also ask if they have fresh (homemade) salsa. That is always good to. Have fun and keep up the good work!!!

Looking good JW,
Brought my own dressing out to dinner last night. It was a good idea, but tried to spice it up with Tabasco, got just a bit carried away. Think it took me 6 hours to cool down.

GQ I mean JW, looking good dude! Healthy and GQ!

NSV,

Wearing size 44 uniform pants today and it feels nice to have my pants fit my legs and not be so damn baggy! The ball room is a little tight! :o but they fit well everywhere else, that will help me stay focused :o I started IP with size 60 pants, I saved a pair and my old belt and duty belt. I have one more adjustment on my duty belt before I need a new on. Time to order now because in the month it takes to come in I will definitely need it.

usmcvet 01-07-2013 09:29 AM

I should clarify, I just took my back up gun out of my pocket and the pants fit fine here is an old photo of what is usually in my pockets, I don't need the bandanna anymore, that was to wipe the sweat from my brow!

I don't carry the spare mag in my pockets on duty and the phone is in my shirt pocket.

So this big lump in my pocket kinda makes my pants a little too tight! :dizzy:

You know, Dr. Oz mentions that a guy gains an inch for every 30 lbs lost... ;) I don't believe people end up with monsters, but loosing fat in that area makes more of our friend able to get out and play (if you catch my drift)

That is some serious pocket stuff. Glad you are fitting in smaller pants. Way to go!!!!

USMC, is that a Glock 27? I have a 17, too big to carry. Let me guess you empty your pocket before weight in...
