Nobster: Great pic man, really shows your weight loss...congrats! Doesn't look like you have any more to lose...you look great!
Wuv dahling....204lbs is simply AMAZING! You look gorgeous and so what if your weight loss slows at this point, you have accomplished so much and look so good I can't see where it would matter! Thats how I am starting to feel also about myself as my loss is slowing considerably. I lost around 100lbs on Atkins and now like 87 on IP....at this point I am like "who cares" if I only lose 1lb this week if that is what it is, then thats OK, so long as I don't let it go "up" I will be happy with the scale. Cheers Jake |

Got there and still could not get into 38 jeans so dropped it to 215...now at 221 I am wearing size 38 jeans and feel good! Still going to 215 or even 210 but now I am not worried about how long that takes and I want a few extra pounds off me so on phase 4 I can gain a few back....
Keep losing! Jake |
For me the important thing is the fat %. What weight I am at when I reach 15-18& BF isnt that important to me.
I started wearing XXL shirts and 40 pants. I am now down to a L shirt and 36 pants. I nearly skipped 38, lol. I have never been under 200lbs in my adult life. I hit 200 when I was about 19 so I can't wait to be in the 100's before I turn 30 next year. It must feel great to be so close to your goal. Keep it up man! |
Weekly weigh in puts me at 169.8. I KNOW that value will be higher as I played basketball last night and didn't eat much yesterday as I was on the go all day long. I am happy to see the 160's number as it has been awhile since I got there and it was only briefly. I have noticed I have lost muscle mass but my goal is to get to my goal weight and then work on toning back into the shape I want to be. I am hoping this will help my knees as the are suffering even 27 pounds down from my high.
I would never have been considered fat to look at me...I was under 200 lbs and carried it well. I did notice my 34" pants were getting tight and I didn't want to see 200+ in the morning. I know I can live in the 160's and hopefully into the 150's...it isn't easy when you feel pretty good (not great) about how you look... |
Hey guys. Just opened a package and was a little nervous when I tried on my new pair of 44" pants they were a little snug but fit. That is still BIG but it is down 16 freaking inches!

Vet: AWESOME brother! Congrats! What a major victory! Just wonderful!
Tightwad: Congrats on your loss! I have lost muscle mass also...and soon as I hit goal I am going to do something about it and start working-out. Was smart of you to act before crossing the 200 barrier. Wish I had acted sooner, but life did me how it did and time got away from me I suppose. Anyway, you are doing great and keep rockin it! Nobster: sounds like you have a solid plan in mind, a solid direction...and you are well on your way! Yes, is feeling good to be close to goal. For some reason I am reluctant to move away from phase 1 and what I have grown used to. The thought of eating "regular" has me apprehensive. Its all "mental" anyway, just have to get my head around it... Cheers all; Jake |

Well, I have to remind myself to actually have it. I get so used to eating the right way that on that day I feel like I'm doing something wrong. LOL
My partner started IP a few weeks ago. He started working on his weight, on his own, back in Feb at around 235. He got on IP about 3 weeks ago. Yesterday he was 200.8 and this morning he is at 200.4. He started to get upset but I told him, dude, it's still a loss!!! I can SO remember when the scale seemed to be in the twilight zone. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. J |

Ok, I'll sneak back out from the guy's section! Pat |

It is awesome when others start IP because of your success. 2 guys at work started after me too. One is already done but he was only looking to lose about 30lbs.
This week I met with an elderly client that I have been dealing with for almost 5 years. She asked me if I was new. That was kinda cool. We also had our annual Christmas breakfast at work today. Many people came up to me saying how good I was looking. Great for the ego boost. Then to cap it all off had my WI today and I'm down 7.6 lbs. that's nice to see after a few slow weeks. I can't wait to move on to phase 2. It's getting so close and seems so achievable now. LOVIN' IP! |
Lost 1.5# and 3 inches this week! Better than nothing!
