Hey everyone. Thanksgiving was a great day. I did very good eating, and motivating my partner (He started IP this last Monday) It was great seeing most of the family. Wow, tired after that trip. Drove two hours and spent maybe 2 hours at 4 different houses each, then drove 2 hours back. Whirl-wind of a day, but great to see everyone.

I got a wild hair to paint our hall way today. It is sort of a narrow hallway so I am painting it a Beach White (off white) color to make it look wider. I've done the first coats along the baseboards and as high as I can reach. Taking a break now trying to decide if I want to do the molding around the ceiling, or scoot on my butt and do 2nd coat around the baseboards. Those are so easy. :)

are ya feeling ya butt bones yet?....lol....I have been cleaning and organizing my room since I hadn't had time to do that since I moved back in with my son. So I know have an organized room again....its my happy place!!....I wanna hang pics up next, gotta find me some butterflies and purple stuff to hang.....lol...its gonna be a girlie room for sure...hahaha....what else could it be right? bright and full of life....just like ME!....hahaha

Lucky the hall way has carpet (Which one day I will replace, my poor allergies) But seriously, I just finished the hallway. I don't know if I am just doing this painting stuff wrong. It took me almost 4 hours just to do the trim work. I don't know if I am not putting enough paint on my brush or what. Finally got it all done. Now I have three doors to do. Yikes, it will be really nice once it is done. Can you believe I painted my entire master bedroom and office when we first moved in? The master bedroom has one of those tray ceilings. Talk about some trim work! 4 cycles around the room, baseboards, crown molding in two areas and trim around the bottom of the tray ceiling. I should know better than try to paint. HA HA Really worked out my OCD this weekend.

Believe me, I did, and then again. Two coats are never enough when I am painting. I can't stand seeing streaks. And, if after I paint and am 'finished' I had best NOT see an area when I wish I had done more. LOL I'm jealous of your pool. Sounds really nice.

Rainy here in Baton Rouge also. I feel like the yuck monster came and sat on my face last night. Coughing/runny nose/itchy eyes/sinus pressure....yuck.

We are still hoping to go out and buy a new Christmas Tree this evening. I have one, but it is a tiny 4 1/2 foot one I used in my townhouse. Since we bought a house in Feb, and it has cathedral ceilings in Living Room, 7 1/2 foot tree here we come! :carrot:

The clinic owner called my coach today to see if I would be the poster-boy for their branch at my gym. I was their first client at this branch and was already a gym member before starting. Its going to feel weird seeing posters of me up at the gym but I gave them the OK to help get more people in there. Both my gym and the clinic are local businesses that I would really like to see get some more clientèle.

More motivation I guess. I can't slack off and get fatter than my most recent progress pic or people will recognize me and call me out on it, lol.

I am back! I took the holiday off and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Net result was 6 lbs but it will drop quick since it went on quick. Today is day 2 back on and I am 3 lbs down already.

I ate everything I wanted but found I didn't have much room (not a bad thing). Bread held little interest for me but I did enjoy the pie...my wife made 17 pies for the weekend! We got to share our Thanksgiving with some Political Refugees from Egypt and Nigeria...sure put some perspective in the things we get to be thankful for!

I am having some issues with doing three packets a day. This is the second week of me being on the plan. I have a packet for breakfast (actually I usually have a RTD) and another for lunch. I get home around 6 PM and by the time I have dinner ready it is closer to 7:15. My coach told me not to eat after 8 pm so I have not had the evening snack. I am scheduled to see her tomorrow so I will bring that up with her and find out what she thinks.

I did not stick with the plan on Thanksgiving day. I did not go "overboard" like I usually do. I only had 1 plate of food but I did try a little bit of most everything. My daughters 15th birthday was Sunday so I also had a small piece of her ice cream cake. Other than that I have been sticking to the plan. My first weigh in was only 3 full days after I started since my coach was going away for Thanksgiving. I see my coach tomorrow and will have my second weigh in. I am hoping to see a decent loss, but I am concerned that since I am only eating two packets a day instead of three it will not be as good as it could be.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Most nights i have my snack around 8:30. I will make some pudding and eat it right before i settle in for the night. I have not had any trouble doing that. The weeks i have had my worst WI's i am not eating enough. So watch doing that. IMO i would have a RTD or the pudding. I just don't think it will hurt you. thoes are low cal as well.
