Hey vet, glad to hear your good news. Both the PD survived and your great find. LOL. I have been soooo worried about you and the PD.

I've watched you since you started and you've done so well. Keep going I can hear the theme song from It's a Small World. It's floating towards Vermont getting closer.

Luv ya, vet
Molly

Hey dudes and Lisa. I hope all is well. Our PD survived the vote more than 2:1.

Congratulations! I bet it's been pretty stressful.

Not to get into TMI, but I also noticed more/growth in this area. Dr. Oz says that for every 30 lbs, one inch here is recovered. Pretty awesome I think. :carrot:

I'm quite amazed how much impact working out has had on my muscle and fat percentages. I've got several charts going from when I started on IP, one of which is body composition. Last month was a nice steady decrease/increase this month (finally allowed to workout) it is a noticably sharper decrease/increase. Talk about a major motivation to keep working out :)

I can't believe we are on page 2.

I'm starting the Spartacus Workout today. It's a HIIT program 3x/week used by the Spartacus Blood and Sand cast. It's an *** kicker but great for both lean muscle gain and fat loss.

Wow Nobylsppon, that looks like quite the workout. Hw was your weight loss when you were working out? I finally started using my treadmill for 30 minutes of intervals last week. I enjoy and look forward to doing more but not sure I'm up for the Spartacus work out yet. Are you eating an extra packet after that?

nobylspoon 11-11-2012 08:49 AM

Tuesday will be my first WI since I have started working out. I'm not expecting big weight loss as my body adjusts to working out, but I am expecting more noticeable changes in fat and muscle %. I will let you guys know how it goes.

Yeah, I do my workouts an hour after my restricted packet (extra energy) and then I have an extra packet ( I prefer the orange drink) right after I finish. Its a good post workout packet since its max protein and only 1 carb.

It's going to be a while before I can make it through 3 rounds of those exercises but I just do what I can and keep an eye on my heart rate. The T-pushups with weights are brutal, lol.

Today was an awesome day with the family. Jack and I went hunting again this morning and this afternoon. I wook all three kids to the pool for a few hours in between. Jack saw his first shooting star tonight after we put our deer rifles away. I also got to hold his hand walking the last few hundred yards to the truck. That won't last much longer!

Hey uscmvet, a lot easier to get around hunting now eh!

That is so sweet, glad you had a great day with the family, sounds like a day to remember for sure. Y'a never know how your kids will react no matter what their ages are. My boys and I are still really close and they WANT me to hang out with them, some people are like what??? you want your mom to come? and then my boys will say, my mom is like my best friend y'all will see. So once I hang out, meet the friends then I become their mom's as well....always be open with them and let them talk to you. Still be firm, but listen :)

WOW, that looks like an awesome workout. I'm tired just sitting here watching that guy. Might think about getting after it. Have you started it, how is it going? Reminds me a little of Basic Training. :drill: But, it should make you nice and strong :strong:

wuv2bloved 11-12-2012 11:35 AM

Just wanted to say thank you to those of you whom are serving our country :)

nobylspoon 11-12-2012 11:40 AM

I started on it this weekend. It's a great cardio and leg workout. I didn't get much of an upper body workout but that was mainly because I couldn't do very many reps for those exercises (T-pushups, etc).

I am thinking about working arms and chest out on a separate day until I can get more out of those upper body exercises.

My quads and *** are killing me today. Lots of squats in that workout.
