Congrats!!...you will have loose skin but its an achievement of how far you have come. Be proud of yourself!

Hello everyone, had a great weekend at the beach watching the old cars cruisin the beach with my mom, brother and his kids. Mom brought me some of her clothes that no longer fit her so I have "new" clothes to wear again!!....lol

WUV you're new picture is awesome! I can't believe the difference since the last one you posted.

So, much as I suspected, my weigh in on Saturday wasn't great. I lost a pound, so I'm happy to be going down, but it should have been more. My coach basically told me what I thought she would... stop exercising! So I will for now and I'll pick it back up in Phase II or III.
I'm also going to watch my olive oil a little more closely, I'm wondering if I went over there as well.
This weekend I made zucchini chips in a dehydrator for the first time, and jicama with splenda/cinnamon. Both were excellent, and I'm feeling a little better about veggies!

1 lb loss is better than gaining!

Quick question for all of you smart people out there...

My coach told me the multi-vitamin (listed on the sheet as compulsory), is in fact optional. I'm into week 4, and I haven't taken it yet (she didn't give it to me so I didn't think about it until later), and I've been a little draggy lately.
Should I take the multi? Or should I get another multi from the drugstore? Any suggestions would be very helpful! I'm usually a lot more energetic that I've been the last week and a half or so.

Thanks!

The multivitamin is NOT one I would call optional. The foods we eat are not going to give us the full range of nutrients we need. I know many people who use just a regular multivitamin instead of the IP one, but you should definitely be taking one.

WOW she needs to be retrained!! its very important to take the multi vit because we aren't getting a lot of nutrients. The anti oxy, omega and enzymes are optional the Multi is a MUST!

Holy Moly was today tough! We had a 80th birthday celebration today and I was prepared. I brought my chocolate soy puffs to work with me. The celebration was full of food. Incredible veggie trays, fruit trays and of course, the desserts. I passed the deserts, filled my tiny plate with colorful peppers and indulged in my puffs. And can you believe the looks that were sent my direction. "How do you do this? How can you resist?" I told them that it is hard but asked is 5 minutes of pleasure eating that going to be worth it. Not only am I planning my first "fun day" but I am planning my first "fun day DRESS." I am excited to purchase my 1st Little Black Dress and I am not shopping for it until I hit goal. THAT is something to get excited about, not the food.

Anyone know why I'd gain almost 2 pounds in one day? I'm 100% OP and am only in my 3rd week. Suggestions?

DON'T weigh yourself EVERYDAY!

Probably water retention. You'd have to eat 7000 calories to gain 2lb of fat. Weight will fluctuate through the week, don't weigh yourself every day if you're going to get hung up on the number. Stick to your weekly weigh ins so you see the TRENDS not the daily fluctuations.

Thanks for the information on the multi-vitamin. I'll pick something up at the store tonight since my weigh-in isn't until Saturday.

Hope everyone's having a great 100% day! I was on staycation from work last week, and last night was my first one back. I guess the difference in my shape was noticeable even after a week - a few people were saying "boy you're teeny now!" I do NOT feel teeny - but I'll take the compliment!! A few were saying that every time they come into work they almost don't recognize me :)

still tossing around the idea of phasing off for the holidays. I am confident that I COULD stay 100% on phase 1 straight through - but this has been a really tough year for my family and we are really making an effort to relax and enjoy each other through the holidays. I definitely don't NEED to have certain foods or drink to enjoy my family time - but the idea of planning "fun" days around holiday celebrations and just being able to let loose is appealing. I haven't made any firm decisions yet, going to see where my losses stand at the end of the month and go from there.

I think if anyone can phase off correctly and get back on after the holidays, it would be you, Scorbett!

And congrats on all those comments! Way to go! :)

LOL thanks for the vote of confidence :) I've been reading the reboot thread just so I know what I'd be getting into if that's the way I decide to go, so thankful this forum has people in all stages of the diet to learn from!
