Had my 3rd week weigh in today. Down another 1.5 lbs. I am happy. I am a slow loser so this would be the most I ever lost in a week on any other diet. I will stay focused this week and hopefully a little more than that will come off next week.

Looks like team "30 by Christmas" is doing very well. Congratulations on everyones weight loss so far.

Today I lost the 1 lbs I had put on and another .2. Phew! was so bummed out. The goal is to loose 1.6 per week so 1.4 more to go

I've just lost my first 10 pounds and I'm really excited! It only took 18 days so I think if I keep this up, 30 for Christmas shouldn't be a problem! I hope it's not just beginners luck.

WI #1 -5.6
WI #2 -2.4

since my last WI -2

WI #3 is next Tuesday!

The scale is going DOWN! That is always good. I had a hard time not getting kind of down about my 1.5 loss. Kind of hard when I see all the huge losses around here. But, I keep reminding myself that the scale going down is the right direction

As of yesterday, I'm already half way to 30. Which makes losing 40 lbs by the end of the year, that much more realistic!

I'd love to join up on this! 30 pounds will put me very, very close to my goal, and for Christmas this year we have far-away family flying in to join us for our first real family-all-together Christmas in years, so that's my motivation!

I do have a goal to be down a total of 100 lbs by the end of the year, so 30 by Christmas sounds right along those lines. I'm in!

5 pounds down and 25 to go with a little over 10 weeks left. I am really hoping I can keep my momentum going to reach the goal by Christmas. I love reading about everyone striving for the same goal, and all our success at weight loss thus far.
