Beyond the scale, be proud of the positive changes you are making to your diet. I was very sad when I started the diet as I dwelt on what I was missing because food was a very social thing for me. But now I love the feel of this diet on my body. So eat healthy for you and know that the rest will come.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the support! Yes, I am quite militaristic about the water, salt and oil. I definitely get more than enough water, sometimes up to 128 oz. The salt is measured out daily so I make sure to finish all of it by the end of the day. I even started measuring out 2 tsp of oil at the beginning of the day to make sure I only used that much by the end of the day...I was only estimating and thought I might be going over on that so now it's measured daily.
As for the feeling of eating well, I, too love the feel of eating lots and lots of veggies every day. It's not a challenge for me because I love veggies and was a lacto-ovo vegetarian for nearly 20 years. I am enjoying myself and am feeling good...it's just that the scale or my clothes aren't quite reflecting that yet. But I'm a patient gal and who knows what this week will bring
Thanks again for your support...and thanks to you, too scorbett!
