Oddly enough the peppers don't hurt me on the other end! haha! I grow Sarrano, cayenne, riastra chile hybrid and habaneros.. have a TON of peppers. I also have some ghost n chile seeds for next season. Friend grew some, I cut one in half, licked the cut edge...and about DIED from the heat! It is well over a million on the scoville heat scale where Jalapenos are like 2500-9000 and basic cayenne's are like 40000- 50,000....so we are talking pepper-death! Good luck with that Liz!

Vet: I would like some of that pepper spray for my ribeye!

Wuv: Thanks for the update on our boy JW...please send him my regards and best wishes for a safe return...

BigDad...you ate the Ghost and lived to speak about it! You are now a PM...Pepper Master! I will grow them but have no intention of eating one! Hottest I go is Habanero at 125.000 scoville units and thats where I stop! Heck, habanero's kick me hard as it is...babies are HOT!

hyrysk: pepper has to he hot indeed! But there is "hot" and there is "HOT"....I will stick with the ones I have and pass on that Ghost Chile! Trying to live just a bit longer!

Man, we need water up where I am. We are having a drought in this part of Canada. All of my crops(Hay) really sucked this year

I am not much of a hot pepper guy. I can't go much hotter than bell peppers. I don't really get the appeal of hot food like that. I don't Think it tastes good and it's painful. But I have been told that I'm a big wimp.

Had my weigh in today. Down 1.8 lbs. I knew I was headed for lower numbers but was hoping I would somehow lose a leg or at least a foot before my weigh in. Oh well. I'm happy with 16 lbs in 3 weeks and would love to see 20 lbs at the end of my first month. My coach says that I am still holding on to a lot of water- my hydration is still -6 so hopefully Incan flush some of that out.

On the plus side, I am now eligible for the ticker and I can't wait to see the little man march toward his goal.

Have a great night guys!

Dude!!!! I cant put into words how stupid that was i had no idea what these fools were talking me into. only thought in my head was how hot could it really be. i can handle habanero's can't be much worse than that. D A M N was i wrong. And it lasted for like 2 hours. i only held it in for like 30min so burn going down, as well as burn coming back up. not a good day lol. and never again.

Made some Salsas for a family reunion last year. Mild for the kids, warm for the adults and what I called Suicide for those who talked a big game and complained that the year before that the salsa wasn’t hot enough. I put 2 ghost peppers in the food processor making enough for about 10 jars and had to almost throw out the processor because I couldn’t get the flavor out of the plastic. I always use kitchen gloves when I work with peppers but those ghost peppers are dangerous. I can’t imagine eating one by itself.

Good morning. Very tough few days at work. Actually the last 4 years have been STRESS! They are looking to amend our Village charter to disban the Police Department. I've worked there since '95 and have been chief since '08.

Yup they hurt me on the way out too, that's why I stick to banana peppers as my hottest. Jalapeno peppers tear me up!

Thanks Lisa. I really thought I'd be a rarity and work for one place my entire career. I still might. I do not think this will pass but it has been on thing after another for the past four years we had four full time officers and one officer who worked 30 hours a week every week along with five part time cops five years ago. We now have two full time officers and five part time officers. It's frustrating as ****! I need to polish off my resume.

I know that feeling, that is how I was with my job. I need to update mine as well but I don't think I will going anywhere anytime soon. I love my job being a coach and the people I am meeting.

mammoth357 09-07-2012 03:50 PM

Vet; hang in there brother...maybe they will not pass it....or maybe they will decide to cut budget elsewhere (guessing its a money thing)and while keeping dept in full swing...lets hope. What would they do if this is passed, have the county Sheriff cover town? I send best wishes and hopes your way.

I was just kidding about wanting the pepper spray for a ribeye but thanks for offering to send some. Also, don't forget to let me know when you come down this way so we can go eat and hit the gun range. I have a sweet kimber pro shop cdp .45 I would like you to try...

Hang in bro
Jake
