Way to go!!

Well...just hit the scale and had a 6lb loss this week...better then my 4lbs I seem to usually get! Just lowered my goal down from 240 to 225 as it seems the gut will not be where it used to years ago when I was 240. Man,...getting older sure changes things! Used to be at 240 I was a rock hard beast...now judging by how much fat there still is looks like 225 may be a better goal.
Still obviously very pleased with losing 49lbs in 56 days.

I notice where my belly fat used to be hard, it is now jelly-like. Gross. I am guessing that as water is utilized from the fat cells first before they get used as energy via ketosis, the fat cells become less dense...and thus more jelly-like. Like if you remove every other cell it all becomes less "dense". It really is gross and is a tremendous motivator to push the diet harder and get that crap gone and off me. Sure as h*ll hope I am not going to need a wheel barrow to cart around extra skin when this is over...
Just thinking out loud.
Hey, have a great week gents, and we Harley folk's say:
"Keep the shiny side up"!
Cheers
Jake

Wow Jake. Great job on your weight loss. Almost a pound a day. I hope I can achieve results like that.

Have a great week everyone.

I've noticed the same thing!

Way to go Jake! I am starting to get a little concerned about the extra skin thing as well. The last 10 lbs that I have lost, has not been around my belly. I hoped to lose a couple of more inches around my belly, but it's staying the same. Time will tell.

Guys’,
I noticed several months back I had a lot of extra skin where most of my belly used to be:D. I started eating the IP products that have collagen several times a week and taking a high quality supplement every day. I have really noticed a difference in the size of the belly roll at the bottom I guess you could call it. Looks like the loose skin is shrinking back where it belongs. The girls have a thread about collagen suppliments that helped.

WI Saturday was not all that bad. Lost 1.8# but she said I was retaining a lot of water. She said I had lost 8# of fat but the water weight was keeping the scale from moving. This happened back about week 10 so I know the big loss is coming when the woosh fairy visits.

Jake my motorcycle buddies hung the name “Chainsaw” on me several years ago after a long night with 14 of us sharing a suite at a hotel (I told them they needed ear plugs but they were too drunk to listen). My vest is a 6x. Now I have to figure out how to move all the patches to a new one that doesn’t have near as much fabric to sew to.

Hey all

Well I am back!!!!! Started IP on Jan 24 this year and after 15 weeks I was down 70 pounds, didn't not cheat once!, I phased off completely and maintained 158-162 lbs for 5 weeks, 5 days of routine, and 2 cheat dinners, and here is when the but comes in! Then hard to tackle 3 months of Mum and Mum in law at our house, I'm and Aussie living in Canada

So needless to say my mother being Italian, and a excellent cook and bakery shopper I couldnt be rude and say no to all the treats she cooked and brought, needless to I placed on 12 lbs in those month and decided to jump back on the kart for a month to get back down and continue on the IP way of things! Day 1 today and from what I remember it was easier than the first time around!

Looking forward guys!

Bumping y'all up again, Jdsw is in Alexandria getting supplies together to bring to people in need with his unit. We are getting a ton of rain and lots of wind, I am on the worse side with the Tornado's and heavy winds. They are saying we are in for another long night and probably another 12-24 hrs to go yet. Good thing is that it has down graded to a tropical storm now.
