I'm going to pick up a bunch of RTD shakes from Dr. B's. The savings is crazy! $12 for a pack of 6 with Dr. B's as compared to $29.93 IP RTD. I've done a bunch of reading and the shakes are comparible to IP.
I'm a little nervous buying alternatives so I'm going to start with an alternative RTD shake for breakfast each day and stick with IP for my other 2 and see how that goes for awhile and then maybe slowly start adding in other products such as a restricted alternative.
I'm interested to hear if anybody has tried other Dr. B products besides the drinks?

I'm familiar with the Dr. B's products, as I was on that diet 10 years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't maintain. (but that's another story). I got worried about the cost around the time I'd reached goal, and (stupidly) thought I could deal with maintenance immediately on my own, leaving them before going through the phase-off process. Once I became familiar with IP, I realized immediately that several of Dr. B products would be good alternatives, and have used their soups, oatmeal, and RTD fairly frequently since I started alternatives this past April. I also buy their potassium, which is the best 'substitution' I've found for the IP potassium/cal supplement. The only thing I haven't used is their protein bars... but that's because I prefer not to keep a whole box of protein bars in supply. Earlier experience proved to me that they are too much of a temptation.
