I've done the hot tea, water, pickles, and chewing gum. Having jello on hand for a 'free' snack if I need it after dinner is also useful for me. Also, I find it helps me stay on target to read lots of books that are pertinent to my dieting efforts. I'm re-reading Dr. Tran's book at present. Also have re-read 'Why We Get Fat' by Gary Taubes, and 'Wheat Belly', etc. Plus several others. The info motivates me and helps keep me focused.
