I have a question. When it comes to constipation, are over the counter laxatives okay to use?

today I am on day 5. I feel full all the time, and have a hard time finishing my food. This is something very new to me. I was the kind of person who would get home from a buffet and go look in the fridge. I just can't stand the puddings, and am having a hard time getting them down.

Have you looked at the recipe threads for ideas about the puddings....personally I like to add ice to mine and blend. There are other things you can add to make them more tasty, for the vanilla I like cinnamon and nutmeg. For the choc I sometimes add some SF toasted marshmallow DaVinci syrup or SF hazelnut syrup. For the Banana it's also good with cinnamon. I think for me the key is blending it with ice, you can even add more water to make it thinner if this is what you prefer. Hope this helped!!

As for the big "C" I used over the counter generic something from rite aid. But there is a way to use warm water and I think it's 1/4 tsp sea salt, I hear this works but I also hear that you better plan on being home for a while after you drink this.

Had a great weigh in today -- week 5 down 5 pounds. Total 27 pounds. And lots of inches.

Has anyone else had concerns about replacing clothing as weight comes off? I have enough in my closet for about wo-three more sizes, and then?!? I know it isn't a horrible problem to have, but I am concerned about the cost. All suggestions are welcome.

Have a good weekend, everyone. Keep up the good work.

COUTS71....Congrats on you phase 2 second WI....How long are you planning to stay on phase 2 until you reacy a certain weight or ???

smpnew 03-25-2011 09:07 PM

I found that using Citrucel helped that problem. I also take a ProBiotic to keep the insides healthier.

Ah Rene you are awesome, are you getting ready for your hockey trip? have a great time if I don't see you before you leave. I am glad that I work with you so I can ask you things in person. You have helped me a lot and I thank you for it.

Pegsi, I am glad you are back (for selfish reasons of course) I missed your honesty and you making me laugh.

I have about another size to go down then I will be going to value village, and see if there any consignment shops here.

Happy weekend all, it is FINALLY here. I get to sleep in until 7 tomorrow before I walk the dogs... how I know that? that's will be the second time they wake me, the first will be at 4:00 so my old dog barks at that time for me to come downstairs to sleep on the couch as she is lonely
I love them but one day I would like to sleep in my bed the whole night without interruptions, except to go to the bathroom for some reason I do that in the middle of the night now.

Bladder infection!

Sorry if too much TMI, but I have a very painful bladder infection. The only thing that really makes it go away is pure cranberry juice, the kind with no sugar or anything added. Will I do alot of damage to myself if I drink this to get rid of the infection, not too mention it is becoming very uncomfortable! I don`t want to go to the ER and pay a big bill just to get an antibiotic.

Momto2cs 03-25-2011 11:01 PM

You can buy cranberry extract in vitamin form, but bladder infections usually need antibiotics...or mine do anyway. I think a visit to a dr is necessary!
Hope it goes away soon, they suck!

kjw83 03-25-2011 11:32 PM

How bad will the cranberry juice mess up the diet...ketosis and all that??

I plan on being in phase 2 until I reach my goal weight or until last week in April. I have to travel to Ottawa, ON from April 18-21 on business and don't want to be on phase 3 while I am there. So I might be below my goal weight which will be alright.

calival 03-26-2011 02:08 AM

had weigh in #2 today--down 2.8 pounds for a total of 9 pounds in 2 weeks--fabulous!!!!
