Had my 5th weigh in last night and was down another 4lbs and six inches.
So, my total is -27lbs and 11.5 inches. I started the cleanse yesterday and will see how it goes. I tried the crispy cereal this morning and it was stomachable. I am trying the tomato soup tomorrow and am nervous to see how it turns out.

how much oil to have

[QUOTE=deelee10;3742660]I've been noticing that my skin is drier than normal. Also the big c. I'm starting to think I need more oil than the 2 teaspoons we are allowed in phase 1. Are you all strictly adhering to that? My coach said I could do a tablespoon which is just one more teaspoon. Doesn't seem significant. By the time I brush a little on my protein before cooking that still just leaves 2 teaspoons for a salad. I'm not crazy about the WF. Does everybody really just put 2 teaspoons of dressing on their salad?

Hi, my coach has us having 3 tablespoons of oil a day on phase 1. Not teaspoons. The protocol sheet she gave me says 2 teaspoons, but she crossed that out and said to have the 3 Tablespoons. :luck2you: Hope that helps. I did not like the WF ranch dressing, the only one I have been able to find around here, so I just use olive oil and apple vinegar on my salad and I just "drink" what is left in the bottom of the salad bowl after the veggies are gone.

Feeling kinda crappy and not IP happy. Stupid PMS and ex-husbands. NOT going to cheat, though.

OMG Thumper - You have made me soo happy!!! It does say teaspoons on my sheet too. Three tablespoons seems a lot more livable. Thanks!

Hey Jolie - PMS stinks, I've been hormonal for a couple of days too. And an ex-anything stinks. Don't cheat tonight. See if you feel better tomorrow. And don't forget - you've always got us IPers!

I think this is a mistake. My coach made a huge point of saying that people who don't lose weight are often confused and eating too much oil. she underlined the teaspoon twice and said to make sure its only 2 teaspoons.

Wow this is so weird! I noticed there are barely any posts by the long term IPers! Seems to be a disturbing trend, its to bad that all the new people don't get to learn from them and all the knowledge they have accumulated over the months and I am not talking just 2 months or 3 months but 5 6 7 8 9 etc. months they have journeyed through the land of Ideal Protien. Is it possible they have all finished IP and moved on?

I've noticed that too and I've only been reading posts for a month or so. I hope they continue to chime in from time to time. I know that I'm going to need the help/advice/wisdom/coaching in the next couple weeks!

Stick with us, Pegsi. I love your posts. :)

pegsi- i noticed that group we had in january has really died down as far as posts too. i absolutely love carla's, svelting's, and linden's posts (amonst others of course, juice and couts). and where is sherry? i for one am addicted to 3FC forum. i swear it's the only thing that keeps me form going OP. but i do recognize that i can't be on every single day and surely not all evening after work every night. so going with that theory, maybe some of the long timers are just finding time to have a life away from 3FC which sounds like a reasonable goal to shoot for. if they are done or finding a different balance in their lives i wish them the best but surely appreciate their contributions to the forum. i've certainly learned alot in the 2 months i've been here.

and pegsi- i see you pushed thru your 140's block. good job! and your progress pics are superb!

Crush up some of the SW cheese curls (or BBQ or salt & vinegar soy crisps), put them in a bowl, cut the chicken up, dip in a beaten egg, dip in the crushed chips, place on a cooling rack sprayed with pam (on top of a cookie sheet) and bake for 30 minutes at 350.

I have been on here since last summer, I have noticed the same thing. I miss the info that flowed through the forum. Although I have been on phase 4 for 2 weeks, I am still reading and posting on the daily post and trying to be active on another thread. Maybe some of the long term IPers will post soon.

Mrs Diettrich 03-04-2011 10:56 PM

Not that I consider myself an IP oldtimer, but I know that for me, some days I'm just kind of burned out by the forums... So, I lurk but don't post as much.

kamikazecat 03-04-2011 10:59 PM

Just wanted to poke my head in and say hi and share my journey so far. I have been lurking since I started IP two weeks ago. The first week I lost 6.5 pounds but only lost .5 the second week. I have, however, lost 10.5 inches in two weeks. I am frustrated as I have stayed OP for the entire two weeks including one week traveling in Vegas. My coach doesn't have any ideas as to why I only lost .5 in week two but 6.5 inches. She is just hoping is shows up next week...

I think I am more frustrated by the fact that my husband has lost 20 pounds in two weeks. Sometimes I wish I was a man LOL :dizzy:
