Ok so I started the IP diet today. I couldn't stomach the herb and cheese omelet, but I'm not sure if it was because of the taste or just because I think the massive amounts of vitamins made me sick to my stomach. I went with the pink lemonade instead for breakfast. So far I'm not hungry....
I've had 26 oz of water so far. I've planned the IP Chicken Soup for lunch but everyone I've talked to now says it tastes nasty so I'm worried about what I'll do if it does. |

In related news - I was going to do my giveaway tomorrow because it's my little guys birthday and seemed fun but today is Earth Day and as my giveaway has a little something to do with Earth Day I will be starting it today!! Deinekatze So good to know, I have a wedding to attend in June (close to your date:) ) and have a feeling that I will be inclined to really enjoy the evening. Hopefully, I will have a little willpower or your experience. Jordanna How are you finding this cleanse? I think I love it. I have been down on the scale all week and it has been my TOM.(see how this newbie is picking up the lingo haha) I was expecting my weight to stay then same this week. I must admit I am a scale hopper...find one and I will weigh...but I find that each morning I have been on IP I have been nervous that my weight will be up, and yet it is not. Sometimes it seems surreal how well IP works. ibdadozer Welcome! I too couldn't stand the omelette, and I have been having egg white omelettes for breakfast for years. I didn't like the chicken soup either, but some people love it. If you have just started, perhaps you can talk to your coach/clinic and see if you can trade a few packets in. For me personally, I LOVE the premade chocolate and vanilla drinks, and I use the strawberry pudding and the wildberry yogurt as shakes. I also find that with the shakes if you use chilled water (just have a jug in the fridge) they taste worlds better. I have only tried a few of the items, but there are folks here that will be able to give you a ton of ideas, as well as support! |

Ok so today I placed an order with Lindora . I hope I like it and it dosnt slow my weight loss down too much but I need some change . So I ordered the cheese cake , the custard, the tomatoe soup , the carmel nut bar , and the vegetarian sloppy Joe mix , and the strawberry smoothies . We will see .

frustrated!!
Ugghh!! My first week is almost to a close on Saturday and I am on my own scale and I was down 5lbs and now I am up 2, I dont get it.
I have not cheated, 2 days I did have 4packets and not 3. I was taking in alittle more oil, but now premeasuring everything. It was that TOM so maybe that was the problem. have 2 days till my weigh in an I don't want it to seem like I have cheated. :?::?::?: |

I started on Monday and to be honest the chicken soup was the worst one I ever tried. I haven't tried everything so far but my most favorite is the cold cereal and the hearty stew so far. I am trying the leak soup today for lunch so we'll see. I have also tried the vanilla pudding, wasn't bad. the banana/pineapple drink : I still remember the icky taste of it from yesterday afternoon. my Hunger: very very bad around 5 in the afternoon. Basically I can't function or think clearly till I have a protein pack. Yesterday I was so out of it that I bought 2 huge bunches of arugula instead of spinach; got home, started cooking it and just by smell I realized it was not spinach. I have a co-worker here who has done it and he says by day 4-5 I should be able to deal with the hunger better. Well today is my day 4 so we'll see what happens. Extraordinary thing: I had to cook alot last night because I have family coming in tonight and I did NOT taste anything that I cooked...as in no cheating so I think I am relativley committed to this. |
