My weakness is not a specific type of food, it's a specific food situation - unplanned events with delicious finger foods. At work, there are frequent situations where I go to a big meeting and the entire back of the room are tables full of yummy foods. I do GREAT with food as long as nothing interrupts my "plan." Turning down food in these situations is very difficult for me, I don't know why
If I'm invited to a barbeque, I plan and take my own food and feel much more successful, it's the random "confronted with delicious food" that I have a hard time with.
I am MUCH better than I used to be, I used to load my plate and eat as much as I wanted. Now, I try to use the "one plate rule" and only take tiny bites of things.
