Julia, I think history classes are wasted on the young. I remember HATING Louisiana History in the 7th grade. Now, I buy history books. Go figure!

I agree on both counts! I find it absolutely astonishing at times just exactly how little we have changed. In our house, the most used tv channels are History and Discovery (ok, and HGTV!)

Yeah, I thought History was really boring when I was in school , now I enjoy it. Maybe it had something to do with the teacher.

You got a problem with ESPN?....gee...thought those boys played football....

I can tolerate the high school games in person(they're interactive, you know!) and an occasional Vikings game (I watch the pro games by glancing at the game between magazine articles), but, sorry, I can not stand ESPN-they have almost ruined Nascar coverage....

Hey! Suddenly it's getting cold. I am most annoyed as I get a super pedicure yesterday and was planning to wear sandals until Christmas at least. I even have the furnace on today. Soon it'll be time to gripe about the oil bills!
