OK... I have to admit, Jorge Posada is a very classy guy...
I linked story not because of the (Pedoria hit intentionally or not) part, but the part of the story showing Jorge Posada walking up the line with Pedroia, discussing whether or not it was intentional.... I think he probably diffused the 'situation'... If I had to like a Yankee... it would be him....

I thought Commish Selig asked franchisers to go easy on us this year with the economy and job market the way it is.... guess most teams couldn't comply. RS did a few little things dropping food prices and such, but tix remain pricey... and scarce...I have 1 of 4 tix for Sept, but they're being eyed for a fund raiser item... we'll have to see...

I'm still here been working on my farm. Farmtown anyone else do it?

Anyways back to baseball. That game was harder than it should have been. We scored they scored. We won which was the main thing.

Scary moment when a fan fell over the wall onto the field trying to catch a foul ball. Game stopped for about 10 minutes while he received medical attention.

Caroline those extra innings games you hate to stop watching just in case.

I haven't tried FarmTown yet, I keep reading about it though...
When you said 'working on the farm' I thought geez.. she works late.. lol

We lost in the 15th... A-Rod walked off... now we are 3.5 out of 1st place...
It's still early............ as long as we start picking up the pieces now...

Cincinnati is coming to town tomorrow. Scott Rolen will be back for the first time since he was traded to the blue Jays.

Diane I read an article in the St.Louis Post Dispatch today that the Rockies will be the team to beat for the wild card.

That's good news, Clyde. I think they have been looking pretty good. We beat the Cubs today, so that helps. I think the Giants are losing, too, so that would be helpful!! One more game with the Cubs tomorrow, then the Pirates come to town.

Evening all.... We are on ESPN tonight, last game against Yanks...
This has been an awful weekend... for a bunch of teams...
We've lost 5 in a row... and stand 5.5 games in back of Yanks... Yanks have won 6 in a row.

I'm just hoping the Yanks have 'peaked' too early and we've hit our junk spot for the season...

OK... here's to turning things around tonight... that's Diet CDP

whoa.... Gary..... get off the slide will ya please...

I'm not worried bout them Yanks... they have a lot of road trips coming up and they just don't do as well on the road... hmmmm... could it be the stadium ?... The 'stadium' is a big topic here on Talk Radio... to me 'any' hitter should be able to hit in that stadium, not just Yankees... Is it me ? seems sensible... I guess it must be me then... LOL...
Talk Radio is pouncing on Terry Francona too... I wanted to call and tell them to SHUT UP... turned it off instead... Sorry... I rant when I'm nervous... LOL

I'm going to my new farm now,.... Clyde/Diane... I need some fresh air.. I've already run out of money for seeds... Guess I have to go to work plowing... I can see how one can become addicted...
