I remember when we had to start a new thread after the playoffs started...

RAZZ...took us until the bottom of the ninth but we did come through for you!

Diane when I saw that pitchers numbers 0-6, I thought this guy is gonna give us trouble. Sure enough he looked like a Cy Young winner out there.

Lets hope we play better today.

That was a really strange game last night, Clyde! What a 7th inning. I felt like I was watching my son's little league games with all the walks! (no offense!)

I am hoping for a repeat!

I've just seen tonight's line up and I'm shaking my head. Wellemyer pitching does not inspire confidence, you never know what you're going to get with him.

My daughter is going to tonight's game and we're going tomorrow, please guys can we get some runs.

I am beginning to think Big and Little (Middle?) Birds are becoming Cardinal groupies/roadies...cool

And I am beginning to think why did I spend that money on 3 tickets?

I am not a happy camper :( 4-0 top of the 6th. Take that back now 6-0.



We do enjoy the games though, always a lot of fun. Plus tomorrow they are giving away a cool Yadier Molina backpack :D to all kids 15 and under.

I'm jealous my middle daughter went with her friend tonight and they have really nice seats just behind the dugout.

My guys won with a walk off home run from Andre Ethier in the 12th...he had a game winning double last night in the 9th too...

Diane I think your team has come to life.

Clyde, I watched the game and looked for ya! :) I am really sorry for you, but happy for me. It's good to see some wins.
I wondered about the Cards' pitching, too. It wasn't very impressive.

We dropped the rubber game to Texas... :stress: their pitching was surprisingly good and Dice K was inconsistent, his usual lately... Yankees come in on Tuesday.. I'm convinced their new ballpark was designed for the homerun derby... We'll have a fair shot at Fenway...
