Sure I will!

Actually, the way this day is shaping up it's unlikely to be me. I'm going to be out all day and I have an orchestra concert to go to tonight.

So, unless I post another 33 messages in the next 2 hours... hmmm...

Naaah!

I just had a thought... what if each of us "used up" one post on the last page (I actually am not sure how many of us are regulars on this thread) up to 499, and then kept updating it by editing our latest post with edits?

Would it work? Would it be fun? Am I mental?

I've only had a few posts on here -- so I don't want to steal the emotional ending from the regulars -- 470 and counting. Thanks to all of you for giving me a thread I know I can peek at and enjoy (no confrontations, just some idle chit chat).

Date: Some time in the next few days. Day 3.

News of the Day.

Ben & Jerry's, Hostess Pledge to Rebuild

Two days after rioting broke out amongst members of the 3 Fat Chicks cult, Hostess Inc. and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream are pledging to rebuild plants that came under attack by the "Chubby Chicas". As we have been reporting for the past 2 days, tensions ran wild after a bizarre contest within the group for the heralded Threadkiller title.

One Hostess plant on the west coast and one in the mid west were set upon by batches of "Big 'Ol Gals" intent on easing the pain of loss by filling themselves with the sweet treats. A security guard was found hog tied and locked in a broom closet at the mid west plant. "It was terrifying!" the shaking man told reporters as paramedics helped him to the ambulance. "I served 2 tours in Korea and 1 in Vietnam , but nothing could prepare me for what happened after I walked out of my shack and saw this, this, this...massive wall of "gargantuan girlies" descending on me. Dear Lord, they had blood in their eyes and creamy goodness on their minds." The guard is expected to be released from care after at least 2 weeks of therapeutic bed rest in a private facility.

In the east, Ben & Jerry's outlets were randomly attacked by "Full bodied Boadiceas" with oversized spoons. In between gorging themselves on gallon tubs of Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey, the cult members could be heard chanting the cult's mantra "This is the thread that never ends".

In southern California we found a construction worker believed to be one of the few men(although up close could be detected mascara and pink tinged lip gloss) associated with the unusual group. "I've been trying to break free of them, I swear." He claimed. "But it's just so damned hard. I even took a job out of town, but I keep sneaking onto my boss's computer to get my 3FC fix. Their pull is too strong. Whenever I think I've finally broken their hold, they...suck...me...back...in."

Authorities are attempting to close in on the ringleaders, 3 sisters, who's unique and powerful form of brainwashing and mental control led to this crisis. Reports have surfaced that one of the maniacal sisters may have crossed the border into Mexico disguised as a chicken. One of the cult's lieutenants has been cornered in a Frito Lay factory in Ontario, Canada. A negotiator, speaking on condition of anonymity, says she is demanding pool boys and chocolate or she will "lock the sum-beesh right now!"

At a press conference earlier today the Governor of California sent out a warning. "The citizens must be cautious and vigilant. If you are approached by a large woman at a McDonald's, Wendy's or such, just drop the food and run for your life. In times like these survival is the key. You're not a Girlie Man for running. I, myself, have hid in the closet when Maria has that TOM."

I had no idea. I have to admit, I'm totally enjoying the way it's turning out.

BTW, anyone else read the Anne McCaffrey series about the planet Pern and how they fight "Thread"? The "Threadkillers" are genetically created Dragons that burn the thread before it falls to the ground, burrows in, and eats anything organic.

Perhaps we need a dragon on our t-shirt.

Operator, you are cracking me up!
