Hi everybody! I think I need a beating or something....... I haven't done TJ in almost 2 weeks so I'm going in there in just a minute and DO my dang 20 minute workout!!! I also "quit" smoking in July but have been cheating like crazy for a week now...... I have just GOT to get a grip here and get motivated! So....... how long have you been doing TJ and how much have you lost (weight or inches)?

Had to work off a fluctuation of the evil scale!!! lol

I know I feel it in my sides really bad after not doing cardio party for a while! But the burn feels SOO good.

Hey everyone =]
SO no Turbo Jam this week since I'm in Colorado for business training... but I actually lost 5 lbs in the last 5 days since deciding to go vegan so that's pretty awesome. Can't wait to get home Sept 17th and get JAMMIN!
Looks like you all are doing great! So proud of yoU!

Default Question for you TJ'ers!

Hi all! I have the original TurboJam starter set. It includes Learn and Burn, 20 Minute Workout, Ab Jam, Cardio Sculpt, and Cardio Party 1.

I'm thinking about buying some new TJ DVDs on Amazon or eBay (not a whole set) and I'm wondering which ones you recommend. I want fun, so time flies by, but still effective.

Also, WW people, how many activity points do you use for this? Basically, do you count it as high intensity? Thank you very much!

I just started doing my Turbo Jam workouts on a more regular basis. I'm so excited because I can tell I'm building endurance. I went the whole 45 minutes of Cardio Party 1 without having to stop and do the low-impact moves!

Is this workout apartment friendly?
I've seen the ads and read some of the reviews and it looks like fun. Problem is, I live in an apartment and I can't do any jumping or stomping that would disturb the neighbours downstairs.
I would hate to invest in the video and then have it sit on the shelf because I can't use it.
Thanks!

I live in an apartment and it's definitely apartment friendly. I do suppose it'd depend on your particular apartment. My neighbors could be blasting Pantera and I wouldn't hear it. I swear these walls are sound-proof or something. That said...I don't think it'd be a big deal. There's a little bit of kicking but if you're worried about disturbing the neighbors then just do the low-impact moves.

Default New to Turbo Jam

Hello All,

I just took a leap into the Turbo Jam world! I'm SO excited! I should be receiving my package early next week since UPS doesn't deliver Saturdays (ugh!). I am getting married on Oct 3 2009 and want to look amazing in my wedding gown. I am going to incorporate Turbo Jam with my pilates tapes that I have. I'm hoping to lose 30 to 35 lbs (inches are more important) before Feb 09 so I can start the wedding gown shopping process and then just have to maintain.

I'm glad I found this board, all of your posts have been very inspiring! It's been about 1 1/2 yrs since I've done any major exercising but I'm still excited!

Good luck to all just starting out and continued success for those who have been on the wagon!

D
