Cathy - Thanks. A lot going on at work. I work for a CA state agency and our funding was ready to sunset on 1/1/2012 and legislation to extend funding was not approved. So we are in limbo right now. I have worked for the state of CA for 25 years and this is really frightening. In our office, 110 employees will be affected out of 500 employees. Management is working on this, but it is still scary and really stressful. We will see what happens.

Today - 10-mile bicycle ride
Tomorrow I plan on getting up early and go for a nice jog/walk.

(((Toonses)))) so sorry to hear about the work situation. Is there any chance the funding legislation will get another chance to be passed?

I did the 1 mile WATP. I probably should have done the 2 mile, but I was feeling tired from a very long and busy day at work and didn't know if I'd have the energy to get through it. The 1 mile one was a decent work out but even when I was doing it, I thought it felt too short. I think I may go and do some Wii for a little extra oomph.

April - Management is working on emergency legislation, but they shared with us different scenarios in case legislation does not pass. We are all hoping for the best.

Today - Woke up at 5:00 am and went for a nice 2 mile walk/jog. It felt great!

Can I pop in?

I'm a Leslie fan. I've been doing her 3 mile for abs and 3-mile express. Just started her 3 mile slim and sleek (with the brisk walking/light jogging). It really makes you sweat. My goal is to start the walk and jog program before December.

How long are the 4-5 mile tapes? I would like to try one but 45 minutes is about all I have before the kids break through the door!

Toonses, I'll keep my fingers cross for you, but I am sorry you have to go through this stress right now.

Hi Free1!!!

Did 35 minutes on the Wii Fit tonight, I'll definitely get in some WATP over the weekend though. My son likes watching me do the Wii so sometimes it's easier to just do that.

Free1 - Most LS workouts run about 15 mins per mile. The Fat Burning Walk which has 2 mins of lite jogging per mile runs about 12 mins per mile.

Today - 17-mile bicycle ride. It was so beautiful out this morning. I ride in the country around the Sutter Buttes in Northern CA and the rice fields were just a beautiful shade or yellow/green. Just stunning!
