Hi Feathers!
I haven't stopped in the Feathers chat for a looong time. I am bummed at my incredibly slow weight loss (coupled with rapid gain when off plan). Didn't want to be a whiner :blah: I've got a diet plan in place, now I just have to figure out how to get more activity back in my life. Hoping this is going to translate into pounds lost. I need to lose around 5 to be in my semi-acceptable zone... hoping that getting back to posting my weigh-ins will help keep me accountable. :crossed: for a productive month of May! SW: 150.6 GW: 145.6, which honestly would be an unusually successful month for me May 1 - 150.6 (+0.6 from yesterday, booo) ummm... on a whim I stepped on the scale like an hour later and it said 149.6, a whole pound less, and nothing major happened in between if you know what I mean ;). Weight is WEIRD. I hate that I care about the scale number at all... |

Getting Back on Track
5/1/15- 152.5
5/2/15- 150.5 I don't know what I did, but I'll take it. It's been a hectic few weeks with the end of the semester. Hunger, I think I've doing been your alternate fasting lifestyle- I do breakfast and light dinner Monday-Friday and then eat more normally during the weekend. I'm also on my feet more outside with the kiddies at my center and drinking a lot of water. By the end of May, I would like to be 145 lbs. I think I can continue losing 5 lbs a month for now. Might re-evaluate next month. And now... I get to go see Avengers with my husband. Our first date in a while! |

Official Saturday Morning Weigh In [though I do get on the scale daily to keep my mind in the game].
3/29/15: 131.0 lb 4/4/15 : 129.5 4/11/15 : 129.0 4/18/15 : 129.5 4/25/15 : 129.0 5/2/15 : 128.0 So I'm calling it three pounds down for April. REALLY want to lose another 3 for May and end the month at 125.0. Who knows? Could happen.... Good luck to all here for a great week to come! |

CrunchyMama - Sounds like you're getting into a good groove with family and work and diet. Staying constructively busy - there's nothing more important than taking care of our precious children, imo - serves a lotta positive purposes! Looks like we're all off to a terrific start! |
Hi guys, sorry I'm late. :P I've been holding steady for 7 days now lol. I'm setting my monthly goal at 2lbs, I think. And wight lifting 3x times per week!

Looking back, I looked pretty good at that weight! My last low was 129 to be exact. But I was still flabby. I have a whole staged plan on how I am "getting in shape" this time, building strength and not just reducing my weight. I will do C25K again, but not until I am around 140-145 pounds, because surprisingly enough those 10 or so extra pounds make it soooo much harder to run. |
Hi all! I hope I can jump in here - I just joined today, needing to keep my motivation! I have a 1 year old baby and it's taken me SOOOO long to lose the baby weight, but no more excuses now, she isn't an infant anymore! Over the past 9 months I've lost 20 lbs, and I am now at my pre-pregnancy weight, but I have 7-8 lbs additional lbs I want to lose to hit my goal.
I took my measurements today and actually logged back into my WW account, and came up with a new running plan. So, here is my first May weigh in! 4 May: 153.4 |

I think I look pretty fit but I do not trust my perception of my body -- one of my demons. :devil: I took a pic of myself trying on a bikini the other day -- I may post it if I can figure out how to black out my face. :welcome3: to all the new people here and welcome back to those who stop in from time to time (which I have done often over the years)! |
