Hey, Featherweights! The first day of spring is exactly 8 weeks away. Does anybody want to set a goal of losing 20 lbs. by then?

I'll set a goal and join a spring challenge after the valentines challenge is done. I dont do more than one at a time. But my goal will be something closer to 5 lbs. 20 lbs in 8 weeks is simply not doable for me.

I'm pleased about all the enthusiasm and delighted to have the support of my fellow Featherweights. I know that 20 lbs. is ambitious; if I can lose at least 16 lbs. in 8 weeks, I'll feel very successful. Here's my plan:

1. Consume 1,000 or fewer calories each day.
2. Hit the health club 5X per week.
3. Eat healthfully -- no empty calories (e.g. alcohol), and go for the greatest nutritional "bang" per caloric "buck."

Count me in. These last twenty pounds are going to be tough, but I'm up for the challenge. My plan: fairly low carb (very much like Phase One of South Beach) and calorie counting (1,200 during the week; 1,400-1,500 on the weekend). Plus I aim to walk/run an hour at least five days a week and do weights/pilates three times a week as well.

Yep, me too I'm in but I'll join after the Valentine's challenge... 20 lbs in 8 weeks ... NOT doable for me either... 5-8lbs is what I'll aim for...

i'm in as well once my valentine's day challenge finishes. I think i am looking to loose 8-10 during that time, 20 would leave me underweight!

I want to try again for No drinking for a month in February. That should help speed up the weight loss! I will have 30 Day Shred by then, so i plan to do the work out 4-5x a week. My calorie plan will be 1100-1300 daily.

I'm with Ilene and ennay. I'm hoping to lose another 4-5 for the Valentine's challenge. My goal would probably be to get under 135(big plateau weight for me) by 1st day of spring.
