I'm a mix between an apple and a pear ... I have "junk in the trunk" like a pear, but have a "beer gut" like an apple ... LOL
1 thing I like about my body ... My legs - must have been all that ballet I did for 13 years
1 thing I dislike about my body ... my gut FOR SURE!! It has to be the ugliest gut on earth! It's a mix between a baby belly, a prego belly, and hanging curtains (loose skin) LOL

I couldn't call myself an apple, pear or hourglass... I would say I'm a piece of pizza! Everything I eat stops after my lower stomach. Since I don't have wide hips, the love handles are hard to hide
I guess a pear... weight goes right to my thighs and butt. I think it's genetic though. My mom, aunt, and grandma are the same way. My grandma got in a serious car accident last year and lost a lot of weight in the hospital...and she still has big thighs. I can tell I'm losing when my watch starts getting looser.
I will say, hips are not a bad thing, and they are proportional to my chest. And I'd rather have some junk in the trunk than no butt at all! Also, the burmuda shorts and full skirts tat are in look good on curvier figures.
I was always an hourglass regardless of my weight but once the forties hit I too became a watermelon. Big all over and a lot more weight in my belly.
One thing I love about my body--my breasts.
One thing I dislike about my body--my belly. The only good thing I have to say is that is one of the places the weight is most likely to start coming off first. After 3 babies and a hysterectomy it's never going back but it will get alot better in time! I can live with that!!!
I'm a pear! I like pears, just not looking like one. D; I wish I was an hourglass, but if wishes were horses.. I guess I'd still be Vegan. Like many others, the pear is hereditary in my family. I feel like I haven't lost a lot of weight because my hips/thighs/buns are still pretty large. xD I can definitely tell the difference though in my now slimmer face & abdomen.
I am definitely a pear shape and I hate it!! My measurements are 36 in my bust, 29 in my waist, and 41 IN MY HIPS!! I absolutely hate it because it seems that no matter how much weight I lose, I still wear the same size pants!! I lose from my waist, bust, shoulders and everywhere other than my lower body!
I'm probably an hourglass/apple. 38-29-39, but I have quite broad shoulders and it seems as though fat goes to my arms and thighs first... even when I lose weight in my tummy, those tend to look bigger.
Urthwum -- wow! If you told me it's me on your profile picture, I'd believe it!
So, I guess I'm mostly a pear shape... the weight definitly goes to the butt and thighs. But I also have big boobs (34DD), so little bit of hour glass there...
What I like about my body? mmmm, boobs =D and legs below the upper thighs ^_^
Before I started putting on weight I was no shape at all...just a straight line! No butt, no boobs, no hips...nada! Although I have always had somewhat big muscular thighs from playing soccer. The weight first went to my belly, then my thighs (the muscle just turned to fat after quitting sports!), then my face. Everything else is still skinny. (except I got a breast augmentation too so I have some more up top now which helps to even out my thighs.) So really I have no idea what fruit I am!!
One thing I like, my buff arms.
One thing I hate, my lower belly pooch. I know it's from the beer lol.
Definitely a pear shape. I have always had a big booty and thick ole thighs, but a small waist and small boobies. When I gain weight its usually everywhere but when I start to see weight in my belly I know Ive let myself go to far.
I luv my arms they are very muscular and I get a lot of compliments on them. My butt I luv when its all fit and firm. Since I dont have it up top Ive grown to luv the junk in the trunk
I have good sized hips and a butt, however i don't tend to gain weight in these areas. I gain all my weight around my middle. I have quite a belly and some love handles to go with it! My legs and arms have always been fairly thin.
