Hi All!

I'm doing pretty good today...

B: 1 container Yop, raspberries

L: LF chedder cheese and 10 crackers, 1 nectarine, carrots/celery with LF ranch dip, 1 jello/fruit cup. 1 square 70% dark chocolate

D: steak, asparagus, salad with tomatoes and LF french dressing

I might have a snack later, since it was an early dinner I guess I over did it a bit at lunch, but not too bad overall I think. Exercise was walking to and from work (40 minutes total)

s: nature valley granola bar (they came in two, just ate one)
l: my mom invited me to go to lunch with her co-workers at this restaurant, but i'll know i'll eat healthier if i eat at home for lunch, so home lunch it is!

So...today WILL be better than yesterday. Here it is so far

Started off with 30 minutes of TurboJam shaping video

B: Yop liquid yogurt (150 Cal), about 1 cup raspberries

L: Its going to be a salad with tomatoes and leftover steak, LF french dressing, 1 nectarine and 2 pieces of crips bread

D: I think we're planning on pork skewers, and some veggies

S: Fruit of some kind...perhaps a mango.

I'll let you know how it turned out later!

Love to share, but it's nothing fancy... I use one scoop of GNC vanilla whey protein powder one large cup of strawberries sometimes I add ground flax seed, blend it with my hand blender and voila a protein shake...

Hi all!

So some modifications to my previous post, but I feel that I did pretty well...

instead of pork skewers and veggies for dinner, we ended up going out, but I had a turkey burger with a slice of chedder, and a salad (had some feta cheese and an oil/vinegar dressing).

As I said before, I did 30 minutes of turbojam (strength training) this morning, and I walked 40 minutes total (to and from work)...I'll probably also play some DDR tonight, since my bf figured out how to get it working on his laptop!

Good morning everyone!

Friday:
B - blueberries, strawberry bran bites
L - went out for chinese with the lab, but I think I did well - cashew shrimp (cooked in a bit of oil according to the waitress) steamed rice (only ate half of what they gave me) and one smallllll spring roll.
S - 1 Cadbury Thin bar
D - 6 inch tuna melt from Mr. Sub
S - a bit of mango, some nuts (probably a bit more than I should have had, but I reigned it in, after my BF pointed out that I was snacking), a coffee with some sugar and LF whitener.

Exercise: I think I did pretty well in this department. Walked 40 minutes total to and from work, walked 40 minutes total to and from lunch, walked dogs for 60 minutes at the SPCA, played some DDR! (140 minutes walking total, and about 30 minutes of DDR)

Saturday - I'm at my BFs parents house for the weekend, so I wont have as much control over what I eat, but I'll try to be reasonable.

B - Fattoush salad (they're arabic) - its basically a lot of veggies, some toasted pita bread and lettuce in an oil and lemon based dressing. I had a big plate full.

L - don't know yet...I may eat my normal breakfast for lunch (bluberries and cereal, prehaps some yogurt)

D - going out for vietnamese or sushi with friends...I will be good though!

In terms of exercise, they have a pool, so I think I'll go for a swim...I'll probably play some more DDR as well!

Hi All!

Not much activity going on here this weekend!

So for the rest of Saturday:

Lunch was baked salmon with some carrots/celery and leeks, and Dinner was Thai food (tried mostly to stick to non fried foods, and didn't eat too much rice). Then later on we went out for ice cream, and I did get two scoops with dark chocolate chunks...I guess that was my splurge for the weekend I don't feel too badly about it though. Exercise for the day was about 30 minutes of swimming and about 30 minutes of DDR.

Sunday:

B: Went out for "brunch" because I woke up late...I had an asparagus/swiss cheese omlette with about 1 cup of fruit salad and a few bites of pancake.

S: So far I've had one cadbury thin bar...I'll probably have some fruit later. We have tonnes of mangos and cherries right now.

D: I'm not sure yet...something easy probably. I've been craving portobello pizzas (a mini pizza made on a portobello mushroom).

No exercise so far, but hopefully I'll do at least a little something later on.

So for dinner I ended up having low fat Cream of Chicken soup and a salad. Later on I had a fruit pop (40 cals) and a chocolate thingy ma bob (60 cals), and a bit later than that a mango. I seem to be in a snacking mood today!!!

Where did everybody go?

So today wasn't so good...but I knew it wasn't going to be good. We had a potluck lunch at work, and I had a little of everything...I was stuffed afterwards, which was an icky feeling.

Breakfast was good...cherries and bran cereal.

Dinner was okay I guess...some roasted lamb, salad, a bit of rice, and about 1/6 of a potato.

Unfortunately I also gave in to an ice-cream craving today and had a skinny cow sandwich...but it wasn't too bad at 140 cals, 1.5 grams of fat.

Anyways, tomorrow is another day, and it will be better!!

I would like to do some cardio tonight, but its so darn hot here. Also, I don't know if I'm perhaps fighting off some kind of bug, but I've been feeling a little bit under the weather, and really tired. Well we'll see...if nothing else, I'll do abs.
