In fact, why bother with the phases at all? As long as I can keep eating healthy & keep my binging at bay then maybe I should just join the calorie counters forum here at 3FatChicks.

I pre-weighed myself today & did show a slight loss, so I'm going to stick with my 3rd week of Phase II (which I thought I was going to stay with until I reach goal - changed my mind about that). I did a lot of studying again last night of how many calories I should be eating for my size. It varied from site to site but the average was 1400 calories, which sounds right to me. I have been aiming for 1600 so that's probably why I'm not losing much (esp. since I'm down to my last 10 lbs.).

I guess I just thought I could get away with more calories by eating right. Still comes down to calories for me, at least when I'm so close to goal. I also want to remind everyone that I just started exercising (30 min. every other day of aerobics for this week - I'll add some toning next week).

But my deal is this, I will not exercise like I did some years ago where I worked out an hour almost every day of the week. I think that's what started some of my aches & pain I feel now & I kept injuring myself (pulled muscles, sore ankles, etc.). My average workouts will be 30 min. (more on days I feel like it) every other day with some toning/light weights in between).

The good thing is I think I can stick with FS & not feel hungry like I did on WW, even while lowering my daily calories. I'm going to do it a little at a time. Next week will be 1500 avg. calories. Any week I don't lose at least 1/2 lb. I'll reduce 100 calories.

So I'm sticking with FS but will be going into Phase III after my 3 weeks of Phase II. I'm not craving anything (which is a great thing). I just want to be able to have whole wheat pasta & whole wheat bread once in a while.
I'm glad you decided to stick with FS, it really is the easiest way to lose those last 10 pounds...I also found when I was within 10 pounds of goal I had to lower my calories and up my exercise.

We haven't decided if we're going shooting tomorrow or not, we have a frig full of deer meat that needs to be cut up and frozen, so we may just stay home tomorrow and do that : ( But knowing DH, he will want to go shoot LOL, so we'll see...Have a great time at Curves my friend.

I'm stuck on the laptop & just lost my post! Darn! I'll skip what was similar to the weigh-in thread & go to the Phase II lunch I had yesterday.

I put some onion, about 1/6th of a small avocado & some tomato in my food processor to chop a bit. I mixed it in with 1/2 cup of fat free refried beans and topped with 1 oz. of a combo of american & chihauhua cheese. Nuked it and it was like having a bean burrito without the tortilla. It was sooooo good. Oh, and I had a teeny bit of corn left over from dinner the night before & added that. You could add some hot sauce or red pepper flakes if you like it spicey. I didn't add any spices & I loved it.

For breakfast today I had my own egg minus mcmuffin (I'm on Phase II). I use a piece of canadian bacon (not on the list but very lean & very low in calories - although I think high in sodium so use at your own risk), an egg I cook in a ring to keep it round & .5 oz. of american cheese melted on top. It was delicious, esp. since I usually use egg beaters for eggs. It was nice having a regular egg.

Last night I made the sweet potato fries for dinner & took more than I could eat. Seems like they got so sweet being baked even though I added seasoned salt, garlic salt & pepper - very rich tasting. I've got a lot leftover which is great, esp. if I decide to do a detox day this week.
