Hello I would like to join this tread. I have done the fat smash and the EFS. My DH and I are doing the EFS. Today is the begining of Lent...sooooo I hope to encorporate establishing good eating and healthy living over the next 6 weeks.

My menu:
B 1/2 c. egg beaters
Black tea
S Apple
L Salad-lettuce, tomatoes, red pepper w/FF dressing
S Almonds
D 1/2 c. beans and 1 serving Veggies.

I need to drink lots of water, so I will drink at least 8oz with every meal and snack.

Hey there good luch with the EFS. I'm just waiting on my book to come in the mail and I'm going to start myself.. Keep me posted on how it's going and the weight lost. I have 35 pounds to lose so I'm going to use the EFS as a jump start. I'm usually a calorie counter but since I've heard so many things about this diet I'm sure it can't hurt to try and see how it goes

Negrita, The first few days are challanging, but you will feel so good to eat good. I also have about 30 pounds to lose. I want to get down to 155 to start then take it from there. The one piece of advice I would recommend is to be prepared!!!!! I make out a menu for the 3 cycles. I post it on the fridge so when it is time to eat i just look without having to be tempted my looking in the fridge or pantry. Well I will post later...have a great day!

hey lou and thanks for the advice. I think I will write out my menus every 3 days also. I already keep a log of food that I eat since I was calorie counting..

I'm ready to start. The reviews have been great and I'm ready and will committ to the EFD and follow it exactly as it says. Even with the exercising, I already walk 3 miles 5 days a week and I have a aerobic work out and I'm going to start running a bit in the evenings..

let me know how you are doing

Hi everyone -

I am looking to start the regular FS - would it be OK if I posted here so we could all support each other? Otherwise, I could start a regular FS thread so not to confuse anyone!

Thanks so much

Happy Tuesday to everyone!!!
I am having a great day, except I havent exercised yet (it is only 10, but...) I have given up eating after 8 for lent and it seems to really be helping. When I get up I am hungry and that sets the day off on the right foot!

Todays menu:
B blueberry yogurt, 1/2 orange and black tea
S WW crackers, string cheese and some salsa (HOT!!)
L Salad with lowfat dressing
S 1 brown rice cake with PB
D Veggie burger with beans

***at looking on my menu, i am on day 7 of cycle 1 of EFS...Yeah I made it through the week, I will have to get out cycle 2 and see what the next seven days brings!!! It feels good and it also feels like this is what I should be doing! yeah not a diet but a lifestyle change!!!

Unhappy Trying to Forgive Myself

I have always been fighting my binging during nighttime. I just feel so defeated these days. For the past four nights, I have been eating most of my calories. I eat bowls of cereal at night, and a bun, and strawberries and whipped cream.
I just get desperate when I can't fall asleep, since I have insomnia. I have been doing so well for the past two weeks, and now have gained some of the weight back.
I don't trust myself anymore. I went from 126 pounds to 122 pounds, and now back up to 124 pounds.
My birthday will be on March. 13th, and I had a goal to be 116 pounds by then.
I don't think I can lose 8 pounds in 9 days.
I will try out the Extreme Fat Smash today.
I just read the giving up eating after 8pm for Lent. I think that will do me alot of good! I might actually need to buy a padlock to lock up the cupboards and the fridge to keep me from slipping yet again. Haha...I know it's Extreme, but i am doing the Extreme Fat Smash after all.
If I have around 10 pounds to lose, how much can I lose in 9 days?

I need support right now, and I am so proud of all of you for starting on this weight loss journey!
