Well, looks like I'm at another cross roads in life.
ONe of the girls at work quit and her position has been offered to me. It'll take a lot of juggling if I do decide to do it and I'd definitely want more pay. I haven't decided yet, obviously. I need to pray.
I should point out that during Commitment Sunday, I committed to tithing 10% of my gross income. Is God blessing me or testing me?
Hi Iva...
Well, I can't answer your question, of course. But, the best thing to do is pray about it. Do you think you'd be happy with this position? If so, it may be what the Lord had in mind, when you didn't get the other job. Sometimes, we don't realize when He is answering our prayers. I don't know enough about it to even give advice. You've definitely made a step in the right direction with your committment. You can't go wrong with that decision, for sure. He'll take care of you, as long as you do as you promise. So, don't worry, just pray. Go by your feelings afterward. I think you'll be fine. I'll help you pray about it. When do you give your answer?
Have a great Saturday. Looks like storms here for tomorrow.
Danny is thinking that the extra money would really help. But in order to do it, we'd have to rely on friends to help out. But I will continue to pray on. I definitely want to talk to my boss about it and make sure she really wants to do this (afterall, about a week ago, she told a co-worker that I was a little slow on the sandwhiches).
There were no storms Saturday. In fact, it was a beautiful day. The Lord answered my prayers. Only, no one showed up to work. Sometimes, I JUST DON'T understand.

Hello friend,
I was wondering what happened to you. Figured you just got busy. I'm glad things worked out for you on your job.
We had a nice Christmas also. Glad you did. Our weather is up & down in degrees at the moment. For a few days, it will be in the 60's & 70's, then it will go down in the teens. Hard to know what to prepare for. We DID have a little snow for Christmas, though. Loved it!
I'm pretty busy these days, especially checking on my mother. My step-dad (he was in the same room as my mother at the nursing home.) passed away the 15th of December. He was the only one she recognized, as she has Alziemer's. It was unexpected. She seems to be ok, so far.
It is good to hear from you. Drop in from time to time to catch up. I know you're probably busy, as I am. It's ok. Just know I'm here, anytime.
Your friend,
Charlotte
Hi Rita...sweet of you to come by & say hello to us. Hope you have a great day.
Hello Ladies just popped in to wish you both a great day Right now Ohio is getting rain and I have to go out in it but I wont let it ruin my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rita
I was offline for a bit. But I'm back. Things are still going well. We're trying to decide if it's in our budget to move into a bigger place. I'm placing that in God's hand (I just pray that this is one of those times he uses a brick instead of a whisper, KWIM?)
We thought we had made the decision for Lynne to go into public Pre-K next year, but after speaking with her Sunday School teacher, I'm not so sure. She feels that Lynne would benefit with another year at Head Start. Unfortunately, that means two 30 min commutes into town each day. That's a lot of gas! I'll do it for my baby, understand, but I want to make sure I make the best decision. On the plus side, if we do decide to leave Lynne in HS, that'll mean that we can move back to St. Mary's. Luckily, DJ is very resilient to new situations--Lynne isn't--so whatever we decide, we have to stick with.
I see by the time on my computer that is time for me to jet! It's a cold 30* here in SE GA.
Rita & Charlotte--have a blessed day, ladies and I'll try to catch up with ya'll either tonight or tomorrow morning
Good Afternoon Ladies hope you all are having a great tuesday and are having better weather then Ohio is having right now came home from working nites in nasty weather snowing hard and woke up to still snowing so hope by tonite it gets better for me to go back to workFrugal sounds like you may have some decisions to make concerning your child I am sure you will make the right one just have some faith and pray about it and it will turn out ok well better get some shoveling done to make a path for hubby so have a good one ladies Rita
Hi Iva...
Decisions are so hard to make when it comes to our children. You are good parents. Just pray & listen to God. If he wants you to keep commuting, then I'm sure a way will be made, & the gas money will be provided. He won't tell you to do something, & not provide the way. I know we get weary with life's challenges, sometimes. I'll help you pray. How are the little ones doing these days? Has Lynne's speech continued to improve? I'm sure it has...it's been awhile since you gave me an update.
I hope you're able to get you a bigger place. I've been in that situation before. Just remember...all things work to the good for those who love the Lord. I have confidence that the Lord will provide all your needs.
Everything's about the same around here. Very cold weather.
