Hello all!

Going to have a busy day at work, someone is out for a funeral and Monday's are typically busy......

But hello to everyone, Gary, thanks for the pics, way cool! Or should I say, thank you Angie!!

Feeling pretty good, no pain, some numbness and tingly, but way better. Going to start therapy this Thursday! Excited about that. I'm going to work on my diet and sleep this week. I'm cutting down on the caffeine, no soda, and lots more water. Going to watch the carbs too and try to eat at home. Feeling a little tired and having headaches.

Have a great Monday!

Sound like the pups are keeping ya busy as ever.

Dalemarie- welcome! great group of ladies here and also our great guy E.Z.
(He is willing to put up with us and give us a gentlemans perspective, words of wisdom from O-L-D E.Z. Ha Ha !)

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. At church we had the Afican Gospel Acappella group lead the service. They were wonderful. All six are blind and use their proceeds from singing and CD's for a center for the disabled in Liberia. Apparently, it is nothing for a family to get rid of a disabled child because they are useless to the family. They all met in a home for the blind there and that is also where most of them were introduced to Jesus. They had quite a testimony. Then I spent the rest of the day just hanging out at home and dh and dil cooked me a nice SBD dinner of teriyaki chicken and summer squash on the barby along with a cream pie made with whole wheat flour and nuts. Yummy!

Gary, your dog is making me chasing those images. We use the laser with ours too but we live in the country so don't have the traffic problem. Loved the vacation pictures Angie. Sounds like everyone is getting settled into their winter routine. So glad your niece wasn't hurt.

Michele, hope you can stay on top of the pain with the physical therapy.

Hello to everyone, I have to get moving so I can accomplish my goals today of getting to the gym, doing the deposit at work, and making the final choice on the house color so we can get started painting it. Talk to you all later. Have a great day.

Default I'm Baaaaack!

Wow...I feel like I've been gone forever. I didn't EVEN begin to re-read back, back, back.

DaleMarie- Hello. Believe it or not, I am in this forum. I read your bio...my sister is about to begin homeschooling. Yeah for her and you.

Bunna- Happy Birthday To You...Happy Birthday To You...Happy Birthday to a wonderful person...Happy birthday to you. Yeah, I know, I don't carry a tune very well...it's the thought that counts.

Mitchy- How are you feeling these days? Any pain relief? What about the electrobe thing? John?

SunnyD- How did DH's sleep testing come out?

Wilma- I don't feel so bad that I've been gone...it looks like you just got back from somewhere. You probably told me but I'm at a loss these days. What a great MIL you have. She loves you I'm sure.

Sprout- You're always so good at making one think through the scripture you send.

EZ- I did see the pics. You and your wife are a very nice looking couple. You look very happy. How are the pups? I think we are going to breed Nikki this Spring. YIKES!

Well...DH and I have been doing our own thing all week until Friday night when he asked me to join him at the church kids campout. Because he's been working with the youth pastor all week in preparation, I said yes in support of him. My eyes must've been like saucers...the land in back of our church which was all heavy brush was now a real campground with wonderful sites; some private and some not-so-private. I was VERY impressed and proud with what he'd done. We stayed until late and up early to work in the kitchen for breakfast. It stormed about 4:30 that morning. I remember seeing tents WITHOUT their rain tarps over their tents and I thought good grief...I'll bet there will be wet familys. YUP! I was right. It turned out to be very good for all. It was really humid that day too. It is nice and cool tonight.

I've been on progestrone for the last 10 days trying to control the extreme downs with PMDD. Day 6 was awful! I've been eating like there's no tomorrow. Today, I did not have to take any. Whew! I also slowed down the food process in my stomach. My sugar intake yesterday was beyond anything I've done since May 1. Anyway, new day.

It makes me restless and not sleep well at night and not tired through the day either...that's weird.

Well, I must go and work on the books for DH. Hugs to all of you!

P.S. I'll be more frequent posting.

Mary

Default Just got done reading

Ok, now that I just went back through the posts we'll see how much I can remember...

Welcome CaliforniaCSR- Sorry I didn't say that in the first post. This is a great place for friendship, support and hugs. I've need my share of them and they were there.

EZ- How is doggie school coming? Nikki was a dropout.

Michelle- WONDERFUL about the epurdaral (sp)! I'll bet you wanted to do everything all at once.

Bunna- I'm glad I don't have to tend to the young ones in school either. DH and Nikki are enough for me these days. How much have you lost on SB so far? I had to start over today...and I didn't do my VERY BEST...but almost.
DH cooked dinner for me tonight so I could go walk. I can't go as fast as I would like, due to the fact that I haven't walked consistently in quite awhile. Curves again starting September 1, two times a week is a MUST.

Wilma- You were at your Nephew's wedding. Being outdoors must've been very beautiful. My baby has been married for 2 whole months now. Gee, she only calls me maybe once every three days. I know...leave her alone mother Mary.

I see alot of you have the red exclamation under your username indicating reporting bad posts. I can't believe there are that many. What a world!

Bye for now all.

p.s. DH and I are going to be ok...it seems to get a step better every month or so. But then again...deer season is coming up and do I have plans. I will let you know later when they are turning into concrete! It's my new ministry I thought of...gotta pray about it though.

Default Hello!

I've made it through one day of work after my holidays. I really missed my coworkers and some of the customers that came in. It sure didn't take long to get back into the swing of things. I'm back on track with my eating and will get back into exercising in the a.m. again.

We're starting to get ready for fall here. Oldest DS is going for his history degree and is looking forward to it. Youngest DS is going to look for work for this year. Hopefully finding a minimum wage job will encourage him to continue his education also.

We found flooring for our basement bathroom at a real deal and DH has installed it. So nice to have a floor to clean instead of painted concrete. I found a cute wooden night stand at a thrift store for $15.00 and have stripped and sanded it down. I plan to stain it a dark colour to match our bedroom. Right now it's raining so I can't do it. I'm excited to see what it looks like. It's my first attempt at refinishing furniture.

Gary: Thanks for the pics. I especially like the one of you and Angie in front of the boat. Hopefully I'll have some to post soon too!

mkay: Glad to see you back! Sounds like your DH really worked hard at his project. sounds lovely!

Bunna: Belated Happy Birthday! Hope it was a great day for you. The accapela choir sounds interesting.

doitforme: you're right. I have a wonderful MIL. She has always been very supportive. I hope to be the same when my guys marry.

Michelle: Glad to hear the pain has lessened for you. Like you I am also cutting back on my carbs although not eliminating them. I need to get this last bit of weight off.

Dalemarie: I don't think I've welcomed you to our site yet. I hope you feel a part of us very soon. This is a great group of supportive people.

Sami: Where are you? HOpe all is going well with you.

I think I'll go and make something exotic like - say - puffed wheat cake. DH loves it!!

Have a great evening!

Oh Bunna~ Happy Belated Birthday Sweets! I hope it was happy!

Mkay, glad to see you back! Camping sounds fun. I've never been much of a camper. Sounds like you were able to spend some quality time with DH too.

No news about John.....he called me at work on Friday, we talked for awhile. He acts interested, but he didn't ask to see me this weekend and he was home.... i don't know what to think. My mom says i should ask him, but the truth is i have no problem doing that, but if he doesn't have it in him to ask me or want to spend time with me, well ok, i'll accept that. Whatever happens happens i guess.

Michele: Regarding Chiloquin, dh's brother has bought property in that area, and my dh has now been saying he'd like to move there in order to be able to retire sooner. Retirement for us here in California would be difficult to accomplish. Like EZ, I am concerned about selling our home here because I know that, should we change our minds and want to move back, we would not be able to afford to buy a home here again. I have never lived where it snows. I don't think I would do very well with it. DH is persistent in trying to convince me to go for the idea. Next summer and the following winter we'll probably take a few trips up there so I can check it out. Anyway, thanks for your description of Chiloquin, and I'm sorry you did not have a good experience there due to your circumstances at the time.

EZ: I am only a bit familiar with Klamath Falls. Have never been to Bend. I hope next summer I'll get to visit more places up there. By the way, I see that you are in construction; my husband is too. Sounds like your family has had a busy schedule. Nice vacation pics. I'd love to get a chance to travel to far away states. One of these days....

Everyone: Thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Must run and prepare dinner.....

Wilma, you did good. Speaking of snow?

I am having a hard time today and am asking you guys to pray, God knows the details. Just stuff but I am not dealing well today and feeling very stressed with it all which in turn kicks in the fibromyalgia pain. I feel like I am not doing what I need to be doing to fulfill God's purpose for my life.

Michele, maybe John was just busy this weekend, I remember that you said he isn't real social always so maybe he was having one of those weekends when he just wanted to be alone. I am a lot like that, sometimes I hibernate at home and other times I like to be out and about. God gave us all different personalities for sure didn't he?

Okay, everybody I am off to sit on the patio and talk to God and read the Bible some. Will chat with you all later.

Love,

Great pictures WILMA, Welcome ohmygreatgrunge--I think there is a teen site somewhere on 3FC, Prayers Bunna and Michele for your "things"...Neighbor Joe passed away this morning in his sleep at the nursing home...told me a few weeks back he didn't want to go to one of those places because "people die there" (no kidding)..guess he was right...his prayers were answered...he kept asking God to take him..said "I want to die but don't know how" glad his suicide attempt was a failure and he went like this..peacefully. Gotta go HI EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Gary...P.S. Angie posted the pics of the "bad puppies" lol.
