Oh my gosh, my husband gets so angry that he almost foams at the mouth when he can't find HIS remote. Too funny! And he really does think that I hide it from him. I'm printing this cartoon for him!

Mooz this is one rocking thread! I like your style of doing things in here. Motivation is the key to success and serious and good weight loss comes out of that.

TID BIT:

PERSEVERE

The greatest accomplishments happen when you get just a little way beyond the point where others would have quit. The difference between someone who enjoys magnificent success, and someone who just managed to get by, is the willingness to do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, to reach the goal. How far away are you, from reaching your destination? If you quit before you get there you are infinitely far away. Make the commitment to keep going, and suddenly you are almost there.

Go beyond where others are willing to go. Put in the extra effort. The time will pass anyway, whether you use it or now. It just makes sense to make the most out of every moment. Give a little more than others are willing to give, be a little more patient, have a little more curiosity, take a little more responsibility, learn a few more things, and it will make all the difference in the world.

Have a wonderful OP day ladies!!!

Good morning ladies.
It is a beautiful morning here in Ireland today and I am feeling MOTIVATED and it's all thanks to a bunch of gals from the other side of the world that I don't even know. This time I feel that if I don't do it I will be letting all of you girls down too. Isn't that weird?

Taz - thank you but you taught me all I know! You seem to have endless energy in your 'over 40 moving and losing' thread. When I go there, after I have been here, and read through all the posts I never have time to 'say' anything but when I do have the time I will 'drop in'

Jen - hope your knee is better soon and you can get on with your exercises.

Lauri, Pattyand Semo - glad you liked the pictures
Poor you - Semo it's soul destroying when something like that happens isn't it? Hope you get your printer sorted out soon.

How are you girls getting on with Semo's weekend challenge? I walked two miles yesterday and my eating this weekend has been much better than usual so far.

Must rush off now and hope to call later.

Smile. Though troubles may surround you, though challenges may confront you, go ahead and do it. Offer yourself and others the real, transforming power of a smile. If you have nothing to smile about, smile anyway. You'll surely think of something.
Try feeling sorry for yourself while smiling. You'll find it can't be done. See if you can think a negative thought while smiling. You'll discover that it's nearly impossible.

Smile when you're writing an e-mail, and the person receiving your letter will see it in your words. Smile while talking on the phone, and they'll hear it in your voice. Smile when face to face and you'll make yourself irresistible.

When the day is bright your smile will make it brighter. When the world is gloomy your smile can make it a far better place. It's a simple thing, yet it does so much. Go ahead and fill your face with positive energy. Smile.

Hey girls!!

I love the cartoons!! What a crack up!

My knee is fine now. Must have just been a freak pinched nerve or something. I did 30 minutes of Crunch boot camp yesterday, and 30 minutes Crunch Cardio sculpt today and am feeling fine. So other than being vicously attacked by my mothers home-made chocolate chip cookies, I've done pretty well this weekend.

I'll pop in again tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Just a quick hello. They re-connected my printer this morning and I am up to my wazoo in paperwork. Plus the guys worked yesterday and I haven't even touched that stack of work.

Have a good day.

Good Evening Ladies
How is everyone doing? My weekend was good, even though I didn't get a chance to go outside. We has really bad storms here. Today I was in seminar - " How to negoitate" It was really interesting. I'm really proud of myself, cause we had a wonderful buffet & instead of grabbing two plates, one for salad & one for food. I just used one.. and filled it with 2/3rd salad, put some chicken & rice & mixed veggies. I stayed away from the desserts. Tomorrow is day two of the seminar, & I just hope I can stay away from desserts again.

Anne - i'm still double clicking on my mouse

Jen - i'm glad to hear your back on track, I know life can get pretty hetic & especially if you having to do it all. But hang tough, you can do it.

Semo - I don't think we ever get caught up on paper work. It's always something.

Lauri - I hope your still taking time to ride that bike.

Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.
talk to you all later...

Hi girls!

Wanted to say hello to everyone. Not much time to post today. I'm having another one of those hectic weeks already. I'm on a total emotional roller coaster, but have managed to keep my food under control and am still exercising. I did the 30 minute Boot Camp tape today.

I'll talk at you more later,
Jen

Hi girls.

I think it is time we moved ourselves on to a new thread as we are not getting many new people coming to join us here and I think the reason is of our Tae Bo title as not a lot of people do Tae Bo it seems and anyway Alzym, the thread starter, doesn't post here any more. It's not as if we only do Tae Bo exercises as we all do other types of exercise too. So I will make the first move and start our new thread at the 'Buddy up' section and I will call it 'Getting motivated, healthy and strong' if I can get all those words in! If any of you think of a better title then we will start another thread later.

So here I go and I will see you there.

I bought the 4 pack when it was being sold on t.v. This was about 4 years ago...after mastering the beginners tape I graduated to the advanced. After a month I was able to complete the whole thing. I was so proud.

Well, four years later and another baby later I try to do the beginners tape and can't even complet that!! I do have to say, I love the Tae-Bo workout. I'm going to try to get my butt in gear, get thru the beginners tape...then go on to the advanced. Hopefully I can master it before the end of the year!
