Chicks... Today I went to a new gym location for my usual Body Pump and guess what?

I would totally do it again!

Woot!!! Two hour workout today!!! It's been ages since I have been able to do that. It was REALLY enjoyable because my twins walked with me for 40 minutes and it was a lot of fun. Plus I love 5 more pounds!!!

Thanks, roxannestags! (I changed my name, by the way, in an effort to protect anonymity and be more positive; both a result of being more honest about my goals and struggles).

It's a good thing that you are accepting the demands of your body. That is, listening to your body and allowing yourself to heal to avoid damage is really important and it's great that you are being careful. As you seem to be training for a mountain-climb, I imagine this listening to the body will be a valuable skill. Hang in there!

Hi Chicks!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...
On my last post I talked about the Total Body class I took and how I loved it...
The same day, but at the evening I took another new class, but now for cardio...
It was Body Combat (the only one from the body series of classes that I didn't have taken so far).
I guess now it is official... I don't like any cardio classes... that is just not my thing...
the only cardio class that I can manage to follow is Spinning!!!
At least I found something!!!
Now, tonight (Friday) I found this machine that is a bike with a screen that works like a video game...
the handles from the bike move and you can choose different scenes to ride and compete with other bikers along the way... It is like a bike video game, where you work out while playing it... It is great!!! you can create a account and follow your progress and compare it with other "players"!!! Super motivational!!! I just loved it!!!
So, I guess I am incorporating this one more category to my list!!!

Ok that bike sounds super cool! I wish we had one. I had a good Thanksgiving. Scale said 3 pounds over after Thanksgiving but I think honestly it was water weight because I did not overeat. Did a two hour workout the day after Thanksgiving, an hour and a half the next day and am going to do another hour and a half today. Today is aqua zumba and lap swimming.

I was going to walk today but my leg is really sore so am not going to walk. Going to take it easy on my leg.

Tomorrow will be a no exercise day. I'm going to pick the kidlets up from their Gram's and won't be able to make it to the gym. Too cold to walk outside.

Did anyone else do a major workout the day after Thanksgiving?

Bel - Hahahaha...don't feel bad...I HATE cardio classes too! As a matter of fact I hate working out in public...period!!! That's why I invested the gym membership money in a home gym a few years ago...but that bike thingy sound waaaaaaaaaayy cool!

WOW...I really can't understand...working out the way you do...there is absolutely NO WAY you can't eat whatever you want in whatever quantities you want it...your metabolism has got to be revved to the MAX!!!! haha...I hope you enjoyed all the stuffings!

Rox - Sounds like you've been kickin butt too with all that working out. I'm feeling like a slouch here at max 70 minutes of working out. Way too go! Enjoy your day off...I took my day off yesterday...and maybe tomorrow to...I'll see how I feel!

Ok...accountability time *GREAT NEWS* NO MORE KNEE PAIN and I ran 3.1 miles today and added an addition 5 minutes pre-workout walk...and my left knee is OKEY DOKEY! Woo Hoo!!!

My gym had this 90 min spinning class Thursday and Friday!!!
I was there for it on Thursday and it was CRRRAAAZZZYY! The class was full for the first time since I started doing it. I guess people was really willing to burn all the Thanksgiving calories...
The regular 60 min class is already tough, and this 90 min one was insane... I joined it thinking I was just going to be there for one hour, but I manage to stay until the end!
