Today I had a small NSV! I ran for an hour straight! I have NEVER gone over 40ish minutes before! ( it was mostly cause I was lost and it ws getting dark.. but I didn't stop running!) hehe

3.8 miles done. Wish I wouldnt went.2 more lol but I didn't track how far i went until after. I can't beleive I had never heard of mapmyrun.com until recently! lol

Click on the ticker and it will take you to the ticker factory website click on update/edit. When you are there type in your password and click the green add plus sign thing, put in the number you did that and it should update your total. Then click next at the bottom and that should do it. To make sure I did it right, I refresh the 3fc page I last posted on and my new total comes up in my signature. I hope that makes sense.

Awesome fauxtini!

I did another 4 miles at the gym on the elliptical and recumbent bike. I hope to start getting back on the treadmill soon. 30lbs can make a huge difference on my knees when I run, so I am sticking to the elliptical until I at least lose 10lbs.

4 miles outside before I had to meet a friend for dinner. I'm glad I ran based on the desserts I ate! :)

Dolly: I love the eliptical! I love setting in ' random' mode. i work up an awesome sweat and the scale rewards me for me hard work! lol
way to go :)

That is terrific!

Well bit by bit my mileage is moving up. 10.1 miles total. Starting next week I should be able to hit about 15-17 miles for the week, because I'll be walking to school to pick up my kids. Man you guys must kick my butt about that, :drill: because I don't want to do it. Brrr, it's cold out there. :bb: I know all you runners pounding the pavement in -5 weather are rolling your eyes at me

river 01-10-2009 09:51 AM

It's -9 here before wind chill, to cold for me to run outside. Bad enough I have to dog walk in it. I want to move to Hawaii. I'm planning 4 miles today on the treadmill. I taped Chariots of Fire to watch for my next two runs. :)

Fauxtini~Awesome job going for an hour!!!! Who cares if you were lost, you were workin' it!!!

Got in 9 miles on bike this morning but felt every revolution!!! grrrrr....

kittycat40 01-10-2009 12:01 PM

ran outside in snow flurries wearing hat and gloves. very different than running beachside smeared in sunblock. ;)

Great job Kitty! Faux, way to go running for an hour!! I've had runs go longer cause of being lost, too.....

I did sprint intervals at the park today for 45 minutes.....it's hard to guesstimate the distance cause I jogged to recover....I'm giving myself credit for 3 miles cause I would have gone more than that in 3 miles at steady state pace. I found that I can move my body 3 miles much faster doing sprint/recover than a steady state 10:30 mile, so maybe I went further, but ???. I am having a challenge marrying my month of sprint intervals with my mileage goals.

Nothing to do but keep truckin'!

3 miles this afternoon. It started to rain when was at about 2.75 so I shut down at 3 miles - I really wanted to do 3.5 today, but I'm another one of those weather babies! Too cold or too wet and I get fussy! :)

JackieRn 01-10-2009 05:02 PM

4.9 miles for me again, the ridiculous part is I could run up the street and back to make it exactly 5 but I've lacked the motivation to do so the past two days. Once I see my house I just can't seem to make myself run past it.

sm177 01-10-2009 05:36 PM

3.3 miles of speed intervals and some hills (treadmill). I had some weird ankle pain at first, when I started it completely gave and I nearly fell over. It scared me a little at first but I ran through it, maybe I just started too fast? Hopefully it won't happen again

Dianeofnka 01-10-2009 07:44 PM

1.5 miles yesterday on the elliptical.

4 miles today on the road.
