Yay! Good job, Gary!

I ran 3.1 miles today, but it wasn't a turkey trot. Just a trail run with my brother and my husband. Very pretty run. 70.1/75

Finished my 10K turkey trot in a RECORD time for me (not just for that distance, but a pace record for ANY race I've done): 52:04!!! I felt kind of yucky at the beginning, and of course my sprint of the last 1/5 mile was rough, but I was so proud of myself. It was an out-and-back course with the turnaround at the 3 mile mark and a big clock there, so when I realized I was pulling an 8:00 pace at that point, I thoroughly enjoyed the next few minutes of passing people that a year ago would have been ahead of me. All this from the girl who, in gym class, was chastised by the gym teacher for not being able to get under 13 minutes in the mile run we did twice a year as a fitness test. I am SO proud!

Now, off to go eat all 650 or so calories that I burned Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

37/60
