1.5 miles this morning. Maybe some more tonight, but feeling kind of yuck and knowing I am about to get my butt handed to be tomorrow by my new personal trainer haha. Maybe I should get some in before I can't move anymore!
I did 3.5 treadmill miles today after work. Still not advised to take dogs for walks here with the smoke. I passed my goal for the month....so maintaining at least a 5K every day average.
DH went to see the doctor....seems he's really out of shape. He's got fluid under his knee because his quads weren't strong enough to support his running. He's on an anti inflammatory and ice packs until it feels better, then he can strengthen using the Nordic Track before he tries to run. The operative word here is CAN. Whether or not he WILL is another story!
We braved the "light" smoke and took the dogs on a short 2 miler...no Starbucks. I finished with 2.5 on the treadmill before yard work and "smoke and ash" clean-up.
Sadly this will probably be the extent of my running in October, so I didn't hit my goal. My schedule and my hamstring pain didn't permit me to run as much as I would've liked. Oh well..there's always next month!
35/42. I'm not going to make my goal because I didn't do a solo walk on my Sunday walks. DH was in too much pain to walk, so there went 6-8 miles toward my goal. Oh, well.
