Gary!~LOL about the anchor!!! Actually, it's HE that has the anchor--our 13+ year old yellow lab. He had a hard time on the uphill parts today. I'm almost wondering if DH will continue to want to run with him once the longer stretches come in. Anyway, we do our warm up walk together and then I take off--he follows the c25k podcast and warms up a bit longer that I do. He goes almost as far as I do, but he trails me for the first half. Then when we turn around, I trail him until almost the 3/4 mark when I pass him. I continue to run and once I stop, I double back to meet him and we walk back home together. It will be interesting once he is running the same distance as me. I wonder if I'll keep up (he runs faster, I think).
  • 2 miles this morning, going to hit the treadmill again tonight for a longer walk while I watch Smallville I ate too much today so I need an extra workout!

  • Well I did a 3.5 mile combo dog walk/treadmill today after work. It was easy day on the mutts and I am off tomorrow so I will do 3.5 with them probably, although Angie mentioned she goes in late tomorrow and was going to do a 3.5 mile run with them....either way they will love it!

    36.5/100 miles

    680 minutes

ALLISON...When Angie and I walk/run any distance while in-training, she usually is quicker out of the gate....but I have way more endurance so I catch and then pass her. If I feel a need I slow down so she can catch up again....it has helped our marraige immensely! We get to walk/run together yet separate! wink
  • Angie took the dogs on a run this morning so I did 6 miles on the treadmill.

  • 7 mile run today -- 35.9/75
