Good morning everyone. Joanne, we had some serious rain during the night last night over this way...woke us up out of a sound sleep because we had the house opened up. Had to get up and run around shutting the windows because the wind was very strong and blowing the heavy rain in....what a mess! Gave Queenie a bath yesterday so now she is all fluffy and white....and she is still pouting! She keeps giving me the cold shoulder! Oh well, she'll get over it. Hubby has been working long hours this week and I have been busy trying to keep up with housework...this pollen better end soon! It's coating everything! We're going to power wash the pool area as soon as it leaves. We have some friends from back home stopping in next month for a visit on their way through. I'll do a dinner or something but they are staying at a brother-in-laws house so I don't need to deal with overnighters.
Mima, I hope things go smoothly for Suzanne with the birth. All I can say is better her than me! Never had the desire to be a mom so that wasn't on my agenda....though I do wish the best for women who want to do this.
Meme, I am having some serious issues with my back again and definitely need to see a chiro. I just hate going through that "get-to-know-you" routine in order to find one on my health insurance. I just wish my old chiro would suck it up and do insurances. He surely must be losing patients without having it? My thoracic spine gets out of whack and causes problems so I need to get it adjusted. I just had my mammogram the other day and I am scheduling the dreaded colonoscopy for June. Oh joy! Not losing any weight either....but hanging in there and not gaining . I need some motivation!!
