MISA: I went to Trader Joes Wed...they opened one in the Forum which is very close to me. I loved it! I like Whole Foods, there is not a Fresh Market near me, but I much preferred the old Harry's to the new Whole Foods.
Hi, all. Monet, Misa. I live a couple of blocks from Whole Foods so I treat it as my neighborhood grocery store. (It's also known as Whole Paycheck!) There are several Trader Joe's here in the city, but I have to take a bus to get to them so I don't go too often. I usually end up buying too many bad things anyway.
I want to wish all you chickies (and our rooster) a Merry Christmas. I hope that you all enjoy the holiday with your families. I don't have a computer at home so will be off the next three days.

I've been working my butt off, finally got home and had dinner... seafood roulat... Still need to vacuum and mop the floors and clean the kitty bathroom... but I think I might do it in the morning before everyone gets here... I'm pretty tired.
I slept like a log! Today is my hubby's birthday, so I am having to cater to his requests. I already brought him espresso in bed, made him breakfast, and I am probably going to have to make him some lunch soon!
I started a new Byetta pen yesterday, and my bg numbers are much better today, so I am guessing my pen had lost its potency. Bummer! I was feeling nauseated just now, and had some carby stuff for lunch. That and a piece of ginger helped.

Sure hope everyones christmas went well,,mine was nice and quite and relaxing,,my back has been out so that sucks,,only had one son home sure missed the other two,,,but had gotten to see them on the 16th,,,and of course they all callled,,but still not the same,,going to do something different next year,,just seems to get more stressful each year,,of course me waiting to shop till the last minute doesn't help,,,
Was scared to take my bs this morning ,,finally did and it was 156,,dang high,,,,but considering all I ate coulda been way worse,,,I need to get this crap out of my house so I will stay out of it,,, I just don't have right now,,,I am using it for a excuse to eat and I even know that,,,now that is sick,,,, I am so sick of my own games,,like who am I fooling ?

Hi everyone..our christmas was great..made lots of nice memories..and of course ate to much..i sent everyone home with bags of cookies and fudge and also leftovers.. asked everyone to make a plate to take home so theres enuff for dinner tonight and then all the "goodies" will be gone and not wasted..i didnt test my sl over the hoidays i was being abad girl and didnt want to know but today is a brand new day.. my dd and grkids have just left and i think this gramma needs a nap.. im pooped lol..hope you all had a wonderful christmas too (((((((hugs)))))) rosey

I had a nice Christmas. Things went ok with food pretty mush as doc has me writing everything down this month.
Sure has helped with losing the weight.
Lost the last 4 pounds to reach my New Years goal-since I am not into partying, I'm not worried about New Years. At my age , i can hardly keep my eyes open after 8 PM.
