Today the scale was 177.0, down .2 from yesterday which is really just a fluctuation, not a real loss.

We used to buy those cheese peanut butter crackers to keep in the car for on the way home from b the other casino. I liked the dark orange crackers with peanut butter and he liked the lighter white ones with cream cheese and chive or the grilled cheese flavor. Now with this casino we stop at McDonalsa onbthe way home. there are 4 McDonalds on our drive home. DH gets a McDouble or a fish sandwich with a large order of fries which we share. If Im hungry I get a McChicken and a dirt coke. if Im not hungry I just get thr diet coke. I likecthe McChicken but I try not to eat if Im not hungry, especially at night. We dont always eat the fish at the casino. Only if we have enough comp points to get it free or almost free. Itbis $21 and hasv4 pieces of fish. We switch the fries out for mashed potatoes and it comes with cole slaw which we split. Its really toomuch for 1 person to eat.

I still have several friends texting me but I think I know which one is the original.

I'm not going to worry about weight right now since it seems to be going up. Everything changes with chemotherapy. Weight was 165. I've heard you gain weight and I really believe that is because you don't feel up to cooking and just grab what you can get real quick. I'm eating too much carbs. Trying to get that under control.

I am exercising again. I guess with all the other problems my knee had plenty of time to truly heal as I was able to do 10 minutes yesterday and 15 minutes today on the stationary bike without pain. Thank God my knee is not a problem any more. I've done half of my exercises done so far. Still have the HIIT and Tai Chi to do. Not sure I will continue tracking food as I'm trying to reach 1000 calories when I don't want it. I just need to follow low carb and forget the calories. Will see.

Have a good day.

I think you are on the right track, Trish. Follow your treatment and dont worry about calories. you have dogne so well so far.

Today the scale was 176, down 1 lb from yesterday. I want to go back to tracking but I keep forgetting to do it.

Today Im going to check the basement freezer to see what I have. i thought I had some NY Strip steaks but I cant find them in the upstairs freezer so maybe I transferred them to downstairs. I want to bake Christmas cookies this year but there is no room in the freezer for them. i can put them in the atticc because it is really cold up there. Not as cold as a freezer but cold enough. DH wants me to throw away what is in the freezer but I wont do that unless its bad. i cannot throw away good food. I read that its not bad but the taste might not be as good. As long as we dont get sick from it.

Weight up .2 lb today. Woke up a little late and today is mostly a do not so much day. I am dragging but I did do about half of my exercises. This is a catch up on rest kind of day. I'm also trying to learn how to eat smaller amounts of food at a time. Still can't stand it when my stomach feels too full.

Carol Sue I try not to throw out food in the freezer unless it has a lot of freezer burn. I don't like throwing out food either.

Today DH made a dish he makes with ground beef and potatoes. with green beans. my friend used to make a similar dish but she used sausage instead of ground beef.

Today the scale was up to 177.2. Im tired of this up down up down. i want down
down.
Today I want to go to the grocery store. i mean Walmart, thats where I buy most of my groceries. some things we buy at the local store. they are morecexpensive but they carry some items they don't have at Wslmart. Our Walmart is small. Before we had this Wal-Mart we went to a bigger one 10 miles away. they had everything but it was a lot of walking.

Allmof a sudden my friend is back posting on the account where we posted for months. He seems different but no one else could be using his account umless they hacked it.

Weight seems to have settled between 166.2 and 166.8. So maybe that is what I weight now. I had potty issue early this morning and had to take a shower at 6 am. However, I finally got rid of the tightness I still had after they drained the fluid off. Feels so much better and this would be a good time to go low, low carb or switch to OMAD. I love feeling so light although the scale didn't show any loss. Even considering carnivore at least during this round of chemo. Will see. Hard to decide when nothing is all that appealing.

Have a good day.

I didnt get weighed today. i didnt want to weigh after I had eaten breakfast.

We got snow today. I thoight it was supposeda to start from but it didnt start until this afternoon. I had planned to make beef vegetable soup and I did. I didnt have a soup bone. Theres only 1 store that sells them and DH said they are expebnsive, $20. I would have to see that. I usually put stew beef in it but I couldnt find it in my freezer so I used beef stir fry and cut it up. Its pretty good. Comforting on a snowy day.

We went to the casino yesterday. He didnt win but brought home $100 more than he took with him. On the way home he got a hamburger and fries from McDonalds. I ate all the fries. so he stopped at another McDonalds and got more fries. When we got home I got potty issues. I didnt make it to the bathroom and it was a mess. DH said it was from the fries. I think its just how my body is.

My friend texted me and said something horrible tonme, so I blocked him.. Today someone who I think is him texted somewhere else. He said he deleted his other account I dont know for sure it is him and Ill probably never know unless he decides to tell me. .

I am very sad today. the scale is up to 179.8. Almost 180. I have to stop eating. I made vegetable soup yesterday because it was snowy and cold. the hot soup wasa so good and soothing. I also had ice cream. I feel fat.

We ended up with 6 inches of snow. It is only 13 degrees so the snow will not melt until it warms up.. Its hard for our little 8 lb dog to go outside to do his business. He came back in soaking wet. and jumped on my lap. Brrrrrr.

I didn't write yesterday. Just isn't anything to share since weight is the same. FBG is high and I'm not really sure why. Yesterday I only had a cup of coffee instead of breakfast, lunch was chicken noodle soup with crackers and I had protein shake last night. FBG was still 119. I'm just not hungry lately. We are having eggs today. Since it doesn't seem to matter what I do I had a cup of coffee for breakfast and a protein shake later. Maybe I will try having a protein shake later this evening. It is difficult to eat when you are not hungry. Strange weight was 165 yesterday but 165.4 today. BP is very good though.

Man I am freezing with the weather hear being 36 degrees, I would be miserable at 13 degrees. I bet it is cold for Brodie and he jus got his hair cut that doesn't really help him either.

Have a good day and stay warm.

Weight this morning 166.2 and FBG 121. I've decided that I need energy to get through this round of chemo and a lot of things I say eat plant protein. Not sure about that but I do want my FBG to stay lower so I had oatmeal with yogurt and a few blueberries this morning. I did about 45 minutes of exercise. I think if I can do that it would be good for me. I'm also wanting some homemade soups. So will look into that as well. DH likes soup and it is easy to make.

Hope everyone is having a good day preparing for the holiday.

Weight 166.6 up .4 lbs. I actually ate a little more yesterday. FBG 117. I really need to eat so that continues to go down.

DH bought some bone in pork chops at Sam's a while back and we have 2 left, but they are so big that we will cut it in half and eat one of them. I need to get on a woe and just stick to it no matter how I feel about it.

Carol Sue I understand how you feel about all this.

Have a good day everybody.

Today the scale is down a,whole lb! 179.2. I know I was having fluid retention. I have to keep it going down now.

I srill havent found the Strip Steaks I know I had. I tried to look in the downstairs freezer but theres a ham and a turkey that are too heavy for me to lift so I can see what else is in there. It is a small freezer with a front door and shelves inside, nit a deep freezer with a top lid, if you know what I mean. i will have to get DH to help me. At one time I remember transferring some of the food upstairs to the freezer downstairs. We need to eat some of this food.

Trish I think tou wull figure out what WOE is best for you to control everything during your treatment. You ned to know which is best during treatment and how the treatment has effects.

Hope everyone has a good day
